Nikon D500 Pros: > 10 frames per second > Very deep buffer > Deep sinus in grip for fingertips...deeper than other Nikon DSLR's I have used.> The D500 and D5 have the best Autofocus among all DSLR's Cons: 1. Omission of pop-up flash (big mistake Nikon). there are photographers who are not buying this camera because of the omission of the pop up flash.2. Should have made ENTIRE body of magnesium alloy Opinion: Nikon needs to re-design the circular connection for the right angle finder so that it is not necessary to screw it onto the body. This is a very tedious process. It needs to be redesigned. The tiltable LCD is a wonderful addition. But in certain background colors, I often do have problems seeing the single focusing square in the center of the LCD. You overlooked that fact that there are people with color vision deficiencies that have trouble with those wavelengths. Perhaps it should have been blue. Nikon....do not even think about omitting the right angle finders. I favor the right angle finder over the LCD in many situations. Robert King :) sent on December 17, 2016 |
