Zeiss Otus Distagon T* 55mm f/1.4 Pros: Precision focus ring. Proper weight and balance. Absence of aberrations. Sharpness and contrast. Cons: Price? Opinion: Like the 28mm Otus I had the opportunity to try to Photoshow Milan in October 2015 on Canon 1Dx body. From the few pictures I think a large lens. Sharp to make an impression. The contrast is great. Also the ease of use fascinates despite manual focus. It's not overly heavy. A few minutes later I tried the 50 L of Canon. It must have been a copy scrambled (are lent) but it was disappointing across the board. That 50 L is not a miracle of clarity it is known but the results I got me down a lot. Probably my palate was "flawed" dall'Otus just removed from the bayonet :-). The Otus 55mm is a temptation in its purest form. sent on November 02, 2015 |
Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 Pros: Sharpness. Fluidity ring focus. Pleasure to see him even on the table. Construction materials. Cons: Probably the weight and size. The price? Opinion: Tried for fifteen minutes at the Photoshow of Milano October 2015. Fantastic even hold it in hand. And 'huge and heavy. Tested on body Canon 1Dx. Focus fluid. Gives feeling of precision and "plasticity". From the few photos taken is exceptional clarity and a lack of aberrations very good. Temptation in its purest form. I take this opportunity to thank the technicians Zeiss present Photoshow for their availability. sent on November 02, 2015 |
Canon 1DX Pros: All have already read. Cons: Noisy in the shot. rnNon simple adjustment AF. Opinion: Noise level shooting would say almost irritating in certain situations in which there is absolutely no need to scare the subject - see birdlife. It happened to see at full speed from the volatile to the first shot at a distance of about 8 meters. Other "against" is not easy setting of AF in certain situations -see tracking subjects faster and smaller with super telephoto. Es. Passerines. rnNel complex ... just ... tank. rn sent on May 24, 2015 |
