sony_a9Sony A9

Pros: speed and image quality

Cons: bit small for big hands

Opinion: The A9 is a camera that was not within my reach, but now that the A9ii has arrived, it has become affordable on the second-hand market. compared to, for example, Canon 1DX, it is also much more affordable. I come from a canon 1DX and switched to sony A7Rii of which I was super happy with the image quality but the AF was insufficient for bird photography for me. The A9 I have now several months and I regret that I have not switched earlier. the AF is really super aim and it grabs the bird, you just hardly miss a shot! And if you miss it, it's just the photographer's fault. Especially because it is also silent and you do not feel that you are being looked at by everyone around you, for example in a zoo or bird show. even in a shed hut situation, the birds simply do not know that you are there so that you will only see natural behavior. I also expected that the 24 MP would be too small, but the quality is so good that there is still a lot of crop space left, even compared to the A7Rii that I keep next to it for landscape and building photography. Buffer is also great, it just never gets full, only drawback is that you can not quickly change things. You have 2 battery for 1 day more than enough. only drawback is if you have some big hands you have to get used to the compactness. Weight is okay, better than the 1dx that always hung around my neck like a brick. Together with the 200-600, this can now simply be maintained all day long. Noise that you eventually get (6400 ISO) is good to polish away.

canon_17-40Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM

Pros: Solid, tropical conditions and resistance to flare, wide on FF, great 24-70 on crop, price

Cons: nothing, on APSC. FF on the corners to maximum apertures are bit soft

Opinion: Good L-series I was very happy with the sharpness . A lens that is really good for a landscape. Construction and color rendering at the top, the colors are very loyal and does not enter the lens dominant. I use it with a b + w 10 stop and I was never disappointed. E 'on 400 euro and it is, in my opinion, a good quality for your pictures. As mentioned above, with the crop APSC is uan has made remarkable throughout the frame, which becomes sublime between f 9-11 (values ??almost stringent for a landscape). Everything lies in the use that he wants to do. Ultimately, I would never change this lens, absolutely.

canon_7d_mark2Canon 7D Mark II

Pros: Fast af , crop, gps, two carts. Image quality

Cons: Weight, wifi

Opinion: This camera has a great learning curve the af section is very adjustubel but when you know your camera you got great results. 7d mark II is a camera designed for sports or nature photography. The autofocus module is excellent, responsive and highly customizable for different shooting conditions, but it is essential be studied well the manual dedicated to exploit their full potential. The body keeps the autofocus until f8 at the midpoint foam (cross) and this is a good opportunity for more. Reduced shutter lag and gusts up to 10 shots per second give the 7d mark II unmistakably sporty character, as well as very useful (especially for those without super tele in kit) is the crop in the room due to the format aps-c. Just sensor aps-c is the component that most characterizes this camera, from benefit (by multiplying the focal length of the lens) to the limit if you decide to shoot in low light and with very high sensitivity ISO. Also very usabel for macro and landscape. Also gps is nice specely on vacations so you cane see where you have been.

canon_300_f2-8lCanon EF 300mm f/2.8 L USM

Pros: sharpness, good for almost everything

Cons: just to short for birds

Opinion: A very good telephoto lens with an average circulation of high F2.8 brightness . Those with extenders and crop factoor body 's above average telephoto reach fetches a good image quality . Suitable for virtually all work areas when it comes to capturing details. Consider sport, portrait, landscape and wildlife . Also easy to handle despite its weight with a shoulder strap you can walk the whole day .the sharpest lens I ever had.. With 1.4 converter still sharp , with just under 2.0 but still usable .

canon_300_f2-8isCanon EF 300mm f/2.8 L IS USM

Pros: Sharpest lens of canon and very usabel with 1.4 and 2.0 converter on every canon camera.

Cons: Sometimes weight.

Opinion: My best lens and most time on my 7d mark ii, the best of this lens is that you cane use it with de 1.4 and still is very sharp. With 2.0 in good licht and not to much distance also good usebel, i use then most of the time F7.1 ore more. In the netherlands i use it the most time for birds and than is 300 mm to short. Very usebel for dogs, very sharp at 2.8 and nice bokeh and nice far from the dog so he won't notice you so you cane make nice pictures.
