haida_m15_magneticHaida M15 Magnetic

Pros: Circular polarizer, speed and ease in putting and removing magnetic filters without removing any plates, material quality, lightness, packaging, ease of use

Cons: perhaps the cost (not as competitive as Haida has always accustomed us) but there is also quality and innovation; metallic noise when turning the front with the slab filters to tilt them to one side

Opinion: I use this holder for a few months, in the past I had, always for the 150mm system, the Nisi (not the S5 even if I got to try it), the old version old Haida and I also have the Rollei, always with the circular screw filter, but definitely not with the quality and the como M15. Surely 'M15 is among the best (if not the best), the new system with dedicated magnetic filters is really convenient and fast in use, to be emphasized also that as a magnetic filter there is not only the CPL but also the various ND, the Clear-Night and the new CPL-ND combined in one filter. The adapter ring fits on the lens (at least for the 15-30 Tamron) on the fort part, then turning a ring around the lampshade that adheres perfectly to the lens, in the house I did various tests, and it is definitely reliable, although to say all maybe I preferred the old method, with a ring to be inserted from the back of the lens and another to screw in front, in this way it was really impossible for the holder with all the filters to detach from the lens! I say this because it was just one of the reasons why I had abandoned the old Holder to move to that Haida, because on 2 occasions I had seen the whole holder slip through the lens with the filters above (total of 6 broken filters), so it is normal that be a little paranoid about it! In any case, for the moment the holder Haida M15 is not making me feel too anxious. On this holder, in addition to magnetic filters, logically can be inserted the filters to the slab, up to 3 slots! It is excellent to include a table inside the package with all the indications on the various ways of using the holder in the various configurations (1, 2, 3 slots inclined or not, with pola or without, etc.) with regard to the vignette for all objectives at where it is dedicated. In conclusion haida, as well as with the M10, has created an excellent holder, velece, light and easy to use, thanks also to magnetic filters. A final note on the packaging, well organized and full of accessories!
