zeiss_28Zeiss ZE/ZF.2 Distagon T* 28mm f/2

Pros: Very sharp, fantastic colors, flare immune, blurry enjoyable to be a 28mm.

Cons: Falling light at the edges and slight curvature of field when used at large openings. Not indifferent cost even from used, usually frontal cap not up to the product.

Opinion: Resounding sharpness in the center already at full opening, closing a little becomes great even at the edges up to f/8 but also a little beyond... The colors are very bright and truthful even in difficult light situations where it is free from any kind of flare even in full sun. At the interream all open you can perceive a characteristic fall of light at the edges and a curvature of field visible in the corners species at short distances. Although it is a wide angle the rendering of the blurred is pleasant with a sense of "detachment" from the subject rather marked and well circular light points. The construction is very sober with the diaframmi ring perfectly fried; the bayonet lampshade is lined in velvet but the exterior paintwork seems a bit delicate to me. Usually the caps are not appropriate for the overall quality, with the front quality ('58mm') rather inconsistent at the closing and ergonomics of the socket. In conclusion it is one of the best goals I have ever possessed, especially among the moderate wide-angles there is no match... Highly recommended.

voigtlander_nokton58ii_sl_sVoigtlander SL II 58mm f/1.4 Nokton - S

Pros: Very solvent and clear, very high quality construction with retro finishes, perfectly rationed focus ring.

Cons: Inconsistent hold of the front cap (52mm). Light not understood but necessary in shading light. It tends to overexple a minimum.

Opinion: I subscribe in full to the previous review of the user Caneca: It is a manual lens with excellent value; It is also equipped with contacts that transmit the shooting data to the camera. The beauty and pastiness of the focus ring makes the use of this lens sublime. Despite the large f1.4 opening I believe that manual focus is not a big problem perhaps because of the great clarity and the perfect friction of the dials. The photos are always very sharp with rich and faithful colors, strong contrast but never annoying that gives character to the image. Blurring is not really a cream; compared to other lenses that I own is slightly noisy with light points tending to "cat's eyes" but absolutely gradual over distance. Already quite sharp at full opening, I would say that in the American portrait / half bust gives the best of itself to f/4 - f/5 thanks to the excellent complexion, although in my opinion it is an optics devoted to the whole figure where it detaches a lot the subject. Frontally mounts standard 52mm filters as well as for the cap that I had to replace with a normal Nikon because of the lasche-inconsistent springs that do not close and for an internal finish that for some reason does not make me stay in any of the non-original lampshade that I tried... I would add that used in low lights you appreciate the great correction of the coma on the neighboring lights even with open diaphragms, while in high lights it is always preferable to have a generous lampshade to avoid flare and (rare) contrast drops.
