panasonic_25_f1-7Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH

Pros: One of the most economical autofocus lenses in the micro four-thirds lens landscape with this aperture

Cons: I don't know in relation to the price

Opinion: Those who land in the micro four-thirds world cannot help but own this little gem, light, with a large aperture, relatively sharp, but above all with an almost ridiculous price given its characteristics and its image quality. With an equivalent focal length of 50 mm it gives portraits with pleasant blur and with a completely respectable sharpness, it comes with a lens hood, which is not exactly taken for granted in the micro four-thirds world (see Olympus equivalents). Given its price, I really don't know how to find fault with it and I can only recommend it to anyone who owns this system.

olympus_mzuiko_17_f1-8Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8

Pros: Aperture, build quality, sharpness, one-click manual maf, image quality, 34mm equivalent focal length

Cons: Lack of lens hood, not tropicalized

Opinion: I've owned this lens for quite some time and I can only speak well of it, it gives really sharp images with a pleasant contrast, the build quality is really good, totally made of metal, mounted on a small camera like the Panasonic gx80 it gives more than good shots while maintaining almost negligible weights and dimensions. As per "tradition" Olympus lacks the lens hood and the lens is not tropicalized, as far as the lens hood is concerned, you can find compatible ones at very low prices. I've done a lot of trips carrying only this lens with me and the results obtained are above the most optimistic expectations from a lens of this size, of this price, so small and light. It's a lens that I love and that doesn't disappoint even in the video field given the silence of the focus and its relative precision and speed.

panasonic_14_f2-5iiPanasonic Lumix G 14mm F2.5 II ASPH

Pros: Small, light, pancakes, sharpness, aperture, price

Cons: Slight chromatic aberration, focal length not always appreciated

Opinion: Mounted on a gx80 it's like not having it, 28mm equivalents that I like but are not always optimal, perfect for the street, very light and quite sharp. For what it costs it's worth having but don't compare it to much more expensive and bright lenses, it wouldn't make sense. Fast, right and quiet af. For those who want a small combo and at the same time that can give an "adequate" quality cannot miss it, I own many other m4/3 lenses but this one is always attached to the gx80 (much less to the g9)

panasonic_leica9_f1-7Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 9mm f/1.7 ASPH

Pros: Sharpness, lightness, aperture, close up

Cons: Slight flare in strong backlight but nothing relevant that can't be resolved in post

Opinion: Optics purchased to replace the 9-18 which was too dark, there is no comparison of course also because this is a fixed lens with exceptional sharpness, with a minimum focusing distance that allows almost macro shots, the distortion is really minimal and the angle of view is perfect for the needs of those like me who bought it for vlogs or similar. I can only recommend it.

sony_a5000Sony A5000

Pros: Lightweight, quality of files (at least at the date of its release)

Cons: Lack of stabilization, no mic input

Opinion: Really small camera to always carry with you that gives good quality files, too bad for the stabilization completely absent, but above all for the fact of not having any microphone input, for the time in which it came out it was really an exceptional vehicle that gave me a lot of satisfaction, at the time I am writing the review obviously there are much more performing products

olympus_m60_macroOlympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm f/2.8 Macro

Pros: Image quality, lightweight, excellent manual maf ring, worth more than it costs

Cons: Maybe the distance selector of maf I would have done differently but you get used to it, as tradition olympus lack of the hood

Opinion: Lens that I have owned for almost 5 years and that I love, combined with the lumix g9 gives me so much satisfaction, it should be used carefully, on tripod and remote shooting from the best of itself given the focal length, but also freehand manages to give so much. It's also good for portraits set as far as I'm concerned, I recommend it, one of my absolute favorite lenses that I squeezed thoroughly.
