Pros: Lightweight, nice creamy bokeh, price

Cons: AC important even closing the aperture a bit, autofocus not usm, not razor-sharp at TA

Opinion: Bought on offer on Amazon for 390 euros, I needed a portrait lens and didn't want to spend a fortune. Compared to the canon 85 1.8 I prefer it for color and blurry. I had to do the fine adjustment in the camera at +2 and from f2 onwards it's a blade. After all, I don't do portraits in TA. Always used between f2 and 2.8 it has an excellent performance. Used with canon 6d and 6dii. For the sporadic use I make of it, I would say that it is a lens without infamy and without praise. Nice to look at, light and doesn't cost too much, quite creamy bokeh.

canon_6d_mark_iiCanon 6D Mark II

Pros: Vari-angle screen, dual pixel live view, electronic level in the viewfinder, quieter shutter than the previous version, 26 megapizzas, white priority Awb.

Cons: Shameful syncro flash compared to even the old 1ds mkiii I had, Af points concentrated in the center.

Opinion: For me nothing to complain about, despite the fact that I have had canon cameras and still own the 6d combined with the 40stm for demanding mountain trips, this has improved some of those things that I would have liked, such as the accuracy of the WB and a decent focus and the plus of the adjustable monitor. Nothing to complain about the use I make of it, landscape and rarely some portraits.

Pros: Small and quite light, sturdy

Cons: Central column unusable if raised due to vibrations transmitted to the chamber.

Opinion: Considering the price nothing, practical and quite light, compared to its carbon counterpart weighs only 300 grams more so I preferred this to carry it in the backpack on my mountain excursions. With very heavy optics the head tends to give way a little forward but if you use the ring for the lens everything is stable. Another defect as written in the cons is the central column that if raised all transmits many vibrations. Impassive to use it even with very delayed shutter speeds.
