Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN C Pros: Sharpness, weight, compactness, price Cons: Autofocus not very fast especially in low light, chromatic aberrations in strong backlight Opinion: For the price at which I paid it (270 € used but practically new from the online store), exceptional lens alongside my old a6000, an exceptional leap in quality compared to the Sony kit lens. I needed a focal length that would allow me to be serene even when the light drops and at the moment I do not feel the great need to have a zoom lens. Sharpness already good at 1.4, becomes excellent from f2.8 onwards. Used as a travel lens (city, mountain, sea) and I must say that it gave me really beautiful shots, without ever being a focal length too wide or too narrow. Good management of the flare, he sinned only in full backlight (and not even with showy or intrusive flare). The cons are known, already listed by other users, but they do not make me at the moment think of giving away this excellent goal. sent on September 01, 2021 |
