viltrox_af20_f2-8Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8

Pros: Lightness & Sharpness ... and it's cheap!!

Cons: Maybe none... The barrel is made of plastic...

Opinion: Small, light and also very cute. But above all Z !! An optic that I have been waiting for a long time, to put in my backpack for incredible excursions. It works very well, Af ready and without indecision, very quiet. And then it's also sharp in the center a lot even at full aperture, while at the edges it improves from F4 onwards, but it doesn't matter to me yes because it's better than the Nikon AF-D 20mm 2.8 that I loved so much... Asssenza di Flare , Ca even against the sun I don't see it ( but have you tested it well ?) But at that figure... everything is allowed, and Viltrox really did give us a small miracle. Good!!!! I don't know how it goes on other sensors, yes because actually some lenses go badly with some sensors, but on my Z8 it's really fine, but also on ZF and Z6II. S O R P R E N D E N T E !

nikon_z8Nikon Z8

Pros: Really Everything, a beautiful Nikon ML

Cons: Maybe the battery life.. but no worse than other MLs on the market

Opinion: It took me a while before I could write anything about my "definitive" purchase, which completely distanced me from even my beloved Nikon APS-C ML. Astonishing autofocus, speed and safety in locking on to moving subjects, to tell the truth no uncertainty shown on all occasions used, stressed with marine birds both in close mode and with telephoto optics. Intuitive menus, but I expect updates that complement the promised features. It churns out some really nice Files, excellent impact even at high iso despite the many Megapixels. I'll be brief..... It has everything you could want in a camera. Heavy enough, initially I was scared brandishing it, because I don't use a shoulder strap, I like to grip it with a safety strap on my wrist and to tell the truth it was not felt very much in all the excursions made, and above all well balanced even with the 70-200 or with the 100-400, two optics that enhance the speed characteristics of the z8. Received already without the recall of the flange, but with the recall of the eyelets, in 4 days sent and received, just to have no psychological qualms. I really like !!! Update to 20/05/2024 With the new update a superlative machine !!!!!!!!!!!!!

nikon_zfNikon Zf

Pros: Beautiful and indispensable, immediately a great feeling for those who have always had Nikon

Cons: Still not a very simple grip.

Opinion: Arrived a day ago, great feeling immediately, sharp images and splendid autofocus responsiveness, compared to the ZFC it stands out for a more rational combination of manual controls and menu management, I liked it immediately for this, but above all because it is made of metal. Advanced management of features that I didn't find, for some features, even on the Z8, although the latter is something else. Stabilization and impact at high ISO really remarkable. Only the grip leaves a little to be desired but anyway it's a lot of stuff compared to the competition, which is now gnawing, finally Nikon is back with a series of realizations that enhance the qualities of a winning project. And this is definitely a 10 laude machine!!

nikon_z28_seNikon Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE/non-SE)

Pros: Small and Light

Cons: AF, Sharpness

Opinion: A so-so optics, not very sharp at full aperture, the edges are always soft, only from f 5.6 recovers, with little light it defends badly putting the AF of my z6II in difficulty. Knead the colors and the photos are poorly contrasted. I really expected more from a fixed lens like this, having to be an all-rounder light even in APS-C use. More could have been done.

tamron_70-300rxd_iiiTamron 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD

Pros: Lightweight, Lightweight, compact and sharp!

Cons: A scroll lock key is missing.

Opinion: Taken in Nikon Z version, a review certainly controversial, I had read judgments of not excellence of this optic, soft at 70mm at the edges, kneads at 300 .. plastic body. They had convinced me to stay tied to the FTZ with 70/300 AFP (really good). But then I wanted to risk ... taken!!! Compared to the 70-200 Z ehhhh clearly does not hold and compared with the 80-400 Z .. ditto.. but to the test of the facts it is sharp from 70 to 300 just enough, and it is a remarkable enough, and has a beautiful bokeh .. it did not make me regret absolutely the 70-300 AFP, the same quality at the two extreme focal lengths, but, surprise, higher than the intermediate clearly, and all in a greater compactness ... and it's sharp.... maybe it is not suitable for some sensors ?? Perhaps?? (The MTFs are against me). I do not allow myself to judge, but on Z6II it went very well, also tried on Z5 WHERE I actually noticed a hair of softness at the edges .. but just a hair and only at 70mm as if there were a difference between the z6II backlit sensor and the cmos sensor of the z5. All seasoned with a nice lightness and compactness, too bad it lacks internal stabilization. I will then update with the tests on Z8, but certainly a nice optics.

nikon_z28-75_f2-8Nikon Z 28-75mm f/2.8

Pros: Bright, sharp, and lightweight for a 28-75 f2.8

Cons: A snout a bit long... and the reputation of being a Tamron first series product

Opinion: After a long cost/benefit analysis, I sold the 24-70 f4 and took almost simultaneously the 28-75 Z and the 24-120 Z. It must have been a risky move. certainly... But the two optics have a different positioning for use. The 28-75 I took it to be able to use it during evening events or even in arenas or theaters with low lighting coupled with the 70-200 Z all in a single backpack. It shows greater sharpness in the center, I would say marked compared to the 24-70 f4, a nice Bokeh, almost no distortion, a greater feeling of depth and above all of three-dimensionality that I really like. Compact and light enough, strong experience in the past when I used the Tamron 24-70 G2, BEAUTIFUL, but how heavy and bulky it was .. The GREAT beauty of 28-75 lies in having the same quality, albeit with less extension in only 565 gr ... and therefore a greater "point and shoot" immediacy. Colors and microcontrast, dispelling the fears of an "old optics", are from Nikon. Ah I forgot a slight CA, but only at TA, and good flare resistance. Nice Beautiful indeed..

nikon_z26_f2-8Nikon Z 26mm f/2.8

Pros: INVISIBLE and SHARP !!!!!!!!

Cons: Noisy AF, hood with soft locking snap. Difficulty at the edges in FF

Opinion: Update: An invisible optic that makes beautiful photos and this is what you look for even in the face of such an important cost for a Pancake. Flawless but noisy AF. In Aps-C the optics perform well and also hides a relative softness at the edges that on FF my z6Ii and Z8 do not forgive. To re-evaluate the final grade, only an 8.5 given the lightness and compactness.

nikon_z_fcNikon Z fc

Pros: It's beautiful !!!

Cons: Handle & External Control Iso Automatic

Opinion: Recently arrived to replace the Z50 as a second light body, the beauty and lightness is really disturbing. The first days I hated it for the arrangement of the controls, the difficult grip, the lack of an automatic ISO key not even programmable, the absence of the flash, almost I wanted to give it back, .... but then... The more I used it the more it was really progressively fun, after a while, the keys go to memory, and comes out all the convenience of a manual camera, you photograph without taking your eyes off the viewfinder or the screen. Technically, the management of the photo is definitively repossessed with a digital surplus. The autofocus is improved, compared to the Z50, and it makes itself felt. The super-flipping screen ke pleasure... For the handle, I took a very nice silver smallrig that everyone knows ... comfortable, but that does not give the impression of total solidity, you feel the detachment between grip and camera body, so I decided to try the original Nikon GR-1 handle, it costs triple, it is quite another thing aesthetically, but for the grip the smallrig handle is ultimately more comfortable and functional. On the ZFC the direct charging contact is USB-C (attention also the Z50 was charged with the USBmicro). For optics ... you have tried the 13mm AF Viltrox .... exceptional and the 28mmZ 2.8 beautiful, small and sharp. But all DX Z lenses are amazing.. the 50-250 is really impressive and we are now really far from DSLR optics, I do not feel the need for the FTZ. So I enjoy new fixed optics on a super pleasant and functional body. The quality is not discussed the sensor is splendid, the high iso super seal. 10 laude !!!!!!!!!!!!! Ps... No problem of shake that someone has feared ... a Great Little Camera !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

viltrox_af13_f1-4Viltrox AF 13mm f/1.4

Pros: Sharp.. Always, build quality

Cons: Weight.. for the rest nothing

Opinion: It's my #4 Viltrox lens for Nikon, and it's the best of all. Sharpness immediately already at f1.4, and also at the edges. Exciting use that can be made of it by mounting it also on FF (right cropping). Perfect AF, Nikon-like touch quality, controlled aberrations, very little distortion, warm colors, and the edges are always great. Surprised and satisfied !!!!

7artisans_apsc35_f1-4ii7artisans APS-C 35mm f/1.4 Mark II

Pros: Small, light, and fairly sharp and cheap.. little

Cons: Absence of contacts, missing the hood.

Opinion: Only 220 grams of devotion, a small and light lens and very Vintage, of excellent construction quality discreetly sharp almost to the edges, beautiful aesthetically, it goes well with the Z50. The rings are well made and pleasantly fluid. The diaphragm ring is decliccated, and reversed with respect to the MF. A beautiful personality, bright optics that knows how to return reality without making it extreme, maintaining a good general sharpness, in fact, without exaggerating. I expected a sharp deterioration in the quality at the edges, expectation, fortunately disregarded. The Flare is present but not invasive, mild CA but only at the edges and at TA. And a slight dominant that gives character to the optics, and that cmq is corrected very easily. It reminds me so much of the 20mm AF-D that has been my travel companion on so many occasions. I will post some test photos as soon as possible.

ttartisan_apsc50_f1-2TTArtisan APS-C 50mm f/1.2

Pros: Small, light, sharp in the center, it has its own character.

Cons: Chromatic aberration, Flare, little sharpness at the edges

Opinion: Purchased with so much hope to flank it to my Z50 and for the very aggressive price, after appreciating the superb capabilities of the TTartisan 11mm, and the excellent quality, why not, of the Chinese confreres Viltrox, It was only, partially a disappointment, for lovers of sharpness, it is sharp in the center, but at the edges we are not really there, even at more closed apertures. The Flare is present but nothing that cannot be limited. While for the chromatic aberration, I see it tough to correct. Maybe it will be a flaw of my version. However, it has its own character of vintage cut optics, even if in its transparencies I have not found similarities with other glasses. An atmospheric photo, however, where you can appreciate the dominant colors that are not to be corrected, almost give a soul to the photo. The final grade a timid 6. Cmq will not stop me from buying other optics of this Brand ...

ttartisan_11_fisheyeTTArtisan 11mm f/2.8 Fisheye

Pros: Surprising sharpness even at the edges, its color rendering, all in metal

Cons: The lack of electrical contacts , perhaps a little heavy ?

Opinion: First of all, I come from Nikon SLR kit and recently landed in ML Nikon Z, I was looking for lenses that could take the place of the F without using any adapter. Supergrandadulars have always been my passion, and in the F version you can find everything and I have tried everything. I took, to tell the truth, the TTartisan, with many doubts also enticed by the cost but above all by the positive reviews that gave it as a surprising optics. I have been using it with intensity for over six months now and I never do without it both as a faithful companion in a light triptych on Z50 ... to really try.... both as a committed optics and of refined quality on Z6_2, for this reason it never fails in the travel kit. The quality, yes, is really surprising for that price, but above all for the excellent resolution at the edges of a straight fish-eye like this, attention does not work miracles, but even the supercostose Superoptics do them (many purchased and resold). Surprising the containment of the Flare even in full counter-sun situations, and very limited chromatic aberration even at full aperture. The color rendering, is a separate chapter, trying it, I realized that it is very balanced and difficult to find even so on much more noble optics. So the price/performance ratio is really exhilarating x me a nice 10 overall.

viltrox_af35_f1-8Viltrox AF 35mm f/1.8

Pros: Compact, lightweight, Sharp very sharp, not vignette. Bokeh AMAZING !!

Cons: Bearing distortion.. for the rest nothing

Opinion: I have to be honest, I was waiting for the 40mm f/2 Z of the Nikon, but it was slow to come out, so while waiting I took the 35mm Viltrox, confident of a splendid 85mm and a surprising 24mm, and I tried it for a long time on the Z6II and Z50. Two nodal points 1) Not vignette, or at least the vignetting is really light, even at F1.8 ... perhaps, I repeat I will be lucky. 2) The hood finally perfect and above all reversible (in some online reviews they said the opposite). A disadvantage 1) Easily correctable bearing distortion. The sharpness is remarkable both in the center and at the edges already at full aperture, if closed at f2 or f2.8 ... really good, I had the tamron 1.8 and the nikon af-s 1.8 and there is no comparison is superior, has a Bokeh, amazing, worthy of a telephoto lens, maybe someone could not like, but the 35mm photo comes out with a lot of personality. Very comfortable the diaphragmatic ring present, always decliccata, the AF ring is programmable, AF perfect and functional, Eye af-point perfect. USB-C port for firmware updates. Now, a clarification, I am not stating that it is better than the original Nikon 1.8 Z version, but it costs only 1/3 and is very very good, at that figure I would like a + bright version at least. Cmq really a nice feeling.

viltrox_af24_f1-8Viltrox AF 24mm f/1.8

Pros: Discreetly compact, excellent finish, excellent quality of materials ..... and great sharpness

Cons: X me decliccata diaphragm ring, but many like it so, improved hood compared to 85 ... but still not Top, vignette a bit at 1.8

Opinion: First Impressions: Test carried out on Nikon Z6_II and Z50 on the latter seems at ease thanks to the good overall compactness. Fresh arrived, my classic test photos denote an excellent sharpness already at full aperture, which then turns out splendid only by closing a stop, at full aperture there is a bit of vignetting, but you can correct, nothing transcendental, but for 450 euros the optics are amazing, it lost the cold tones that the 85 had, fast and silent AF but above all perfect in all its photo and video options, included in the Af Eye detection has no hesitation. The sharpness... really... really good to be a Chinese optics, the level reached is high, at least in my model absence of chromatic aberration already at full aperture on the whole frame clearly, the flare is really contained, indeed practically absent, for a 24 mm then, the bokeh is really superlative. USB-C firmware update port, which in a couple of steps will greatly improve the functionality of the lens. A camera raw profile is still missing, but given the experience with the 85mm the parent company will not delay in the release. It conveys good feelings, I like !!!

nikon_z50-250dxNikon Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR

Pros: Very Light, Compact, Unexpected Sharpness, Surprisingly Fast Af

Cons: All plastic

Opinion: Taken to complete the superlight travel kit, 11mm TTArtisan, 16-50 Vr, and 50-250 Vr... quiet I also have the Z6_2 with top optics .. But I really liked the idea of always shooting and cmq and being invisible to everyone at the same time. In fact, the 50-250 is really small both closed and open, only 400 gr, it stretches a little, but not like the other confreres, its "alterego" is the 70-300 AF-P 4.5 / 5.6, 680 gr, it is really an absolute champion as a type of focal on FX DSLR, the other dx and fx (tried in the past) I do not consider them. In Fact the little Z fights well .. but loses the comparison because only Right, is sharp at full aperture, well balanced colors .. always and to all focal points .. while it loses something, but very little, at 250mm at the extreme edges, but always maintaining an excellent feeling of sharpness precisely at a very wide center. A feature that escapes us, however, is that the native Z optics are faster, better correct and when you go to observe the files your expression will be .. Wow.. where do these images come from ?... from this plastic perspective ? .. SUPREMACY Z..... The same 70-300 AF-P mentioned above, certainly gives something more in sharpness, but on Z it loses in AF speed with the FTZ and loses something in the automatic detection of the eyes, and the images, sometimes and strangely, are kneaded. So for now I will use the small 50-250 on the Z50 because it really makes me have fun !! (We await cmq great things for the next few months always in Z).

nikon_z24-70_f4sNikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S

Pros: Impeccable sharpness, but above all a light weight

Cons: nobody

Opinion: I purchased this lens in kit with the z6 II, to be honest I was attracted first by the 24-50 for its compactness, tried and beautiful CMQ, then slowly I began to use the 24-70, light and compact, but above all sharp, in fact the transition to ML was dictated by the need for new lightness , well the 24-70 is sharp, always, and behaves beautifully in the backlight and has no defect typical of the previous optics of equal focal length, so the promotion is concrete, but in addition it does not sin in three-dimensionality, and has a decent bokeh, the doubt arises in the comparison with the older brother of 2.8 , for now I do not put it , but it is superior, in my opinion, to 2.8 DSLR optics not so much in sharpness, but in the absolute absence of microdifetti that have gripped reflex optics. 10 and Praise

viltrox_af85_f1-8fe_iiViltrox AF 85mm f/1.8 II

Pros: 99% sharpness from edge to edge, mechanical quality, AF speed

Cons: No x now..

Opinion: Mamma mia che ottica, price ratio performance really shocking. Superb mechanical quality, truly remarkable aesthetics for a third-party optics. The mechanical and electronic connection with my perfect Z6II, no Autofocus problems, all the functions of the Z6II perfectly maintained, even easily upgradable firmware. Amazing optical quality for the price offered, sharpness from edge to edge and this already at full opening, the bokeh can be considered, in my opinion, its strong point. Very slight, but really very slight chromatic aberration at the extreme edges. Quality equal to the 85 1.8 G with Ftz adaptor in every sense, and therefore does not make me regret it, also because the 85 mounted on FTZ can not be looked at. 10 and Praise !!!!

nikon_z24-50Nikon Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3

Pros: Lightweight, only 5cm, Versatile, colours and great Bokeh

Cons: Plastic, Af not very fast, and vignetting at 24mm

Opinion: Taken used as a superlight lens for the Z6II, it surprised me, first of all for the weight ratio, performance .. read great sharpness, price. The first thing that pops up is the excellent bokeh, despite being a closed lens, and the excellent sharpness from 5.6 onwards. Vignette a little at 24 mm, and the Af is not a very fast one. But the photos he makes are always beautiful and saturated with typical Nikon color and above all does not betray expectations. Carrying such an unsevasive lens in the street always allows you to take an more photo and not one less. It reminds me a lot of the Tessar Zeiss Hat-trick. I'd say " A big surprise" Bravi

nikon_afs18-140Nikon AF-S 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR

Pros: Compact, light and fairly sharp at all focal points, price

Cons: Distortion, lack of lampshed at purchase

Opinion: Sold on the 18-200, I took this lens alongside the d5600, despite having d780 and similar optics. I needed something practical and light for sudden hikes and outings. The 18-140, unlike its detractors, is the best 18- xxx of the nikon, excellent construction quality to the touch and use of zoom, excellent Af, but the actual positive note is the discreet sharpness to all the focals even the longest ones, and from edge to edge, the Mtf tests support this impression of me even to diaphragms more open. Backlight behavior is also positive. Slight diffraction at f11 and f22, and a little vignetting at 18mm. While distortion at shorter focal points is present and noticeable. In the end it is sharp, what I basically look for from an optical point of view, certainly not a blade like 70-200 2.8 or fixed optics, but it always makes great photos. Vote 9.5

nikon_afp10-20vrNikon AF-P DX 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR

Pros: The lightness and cost, the sharpness and the possibility of filters

Cons: the plastic bayonet

Opinion: This perspective is also part of the group of repentants, already owned in the APS-C period, now bought back for a superlight kit together with the d5600. Ke beautiful colors, an unexpected sharpness from the center to the edges to the right diaphragms, MTF tests confirm this, coupled with sensors without anti-alias filter you gaseously, distortion is present but is controlled directly in the machine. In the backlight practically absent the flare, the purple fringing idem. And then you can also use it in really very interesting FF, tried on the D780 ... azz that Optics. Manual MF is possible in Override and there is VR. That wanting more from an lens of only 227g a constructive miracle of Nikon.. sin only x the plastic bayonet. I am not an ML detractor but with a d5600 everything weighs 692g that work great ... and as also reported by fuji's CEO, long live APS-C.

Pros: A fascinating optics " praise of practical reason " does everything and does it well, F constant and diaphragm with 9 slats and also sharp !!!

Cons: Slight distortion at 24 mm .. Just

Opinion: Taken Together with the D750, I have now switched to the D780 but I kept it, compact and heavy at the right point, crisp enough.. let's not forget that it is a 24-120 FF and with a little attention always makes beautiful photos, tried even in the non-professional sports field really gives nice satisfactions. Unfortunately once hooked it is difficult to take it off, because on the fly and without thinking too much it is always ready with the right focal point, it does not work miracles but the MYTHICAL sharpness that we usually look for is there without exaggerating however the difference with fixed optics, certainly superior, lies in capturing the fleeting moment that will not return and the 24-120 carpisce and it also does well . A NICE 10 absolutely

Pros: Size, Lightness, great sensor, File Quality, Time Lapse, HDR, Battery Life, Adjustable Screen and Touch, absence of anti-aliasing filter

Cons: The internal engine Af ... sin would have been the link for the whole Nikon Universe !!!

Opinion: Now migrated to FF Nikon for a few years, as an advanced photoadamator, I felt the need to always bring with me a small Nikon compatible with my optical park. Taking an ML meant abandoning everything and starting from scratch. So, looking for something small, I found a gorgeous D5600, we... it's really small but small and light (460 gr). He's got everything you need to take some good pictures. An advanced software, an excellent sensor without an anti-alias filter, the tipper screen, the silent shot, the time lapse, the HDR, excellent quality and simplicity Video, the external USB connections and excellent remote management equal to the older sister D780. Well what more do you want for an APS-C maybe just the ability to mount the old engineless AF optics, but I think, anyway, it's really a misrepea overwhelmed by the ML release, for me really the Top !!!

Pros: It costs little and goes really well, excellent quality of materials

Cons: Maybe not bright. Maybe

Opinion: Then it's a really fun optics that brings so many closer to a creative photo in the FF, given the costs, attention we always talk about the ver. II, and above all unwieldy then to be FF, I read everything... but maybe it is true not mind-blowing at the edges but more than enough, to be superior it takes so much cache. and then the others weigh a lot and after a while you get tired. In its lightness this optics makes very sharp photos and I personally use it between 12 and 18 mm , I have never had problems of dark corners, indeed even at full opening it defends well. I have no doubt from an indomitable admirer of fixed optics a nice 10 and praise to this Sigma.

nikon_24-85vrNikon AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED VR

Pros: Definitely the weight, good sharpness, compactness and price

Cons: the fluidity of zoom motion

Opinion: After many years spent searching for a definitive zoom.. Light... (light attention as light and compact with the necessary compromises) in fact I also have the tamron 24-70 G2, and used several 24-120Vr , I arrived at this compact 24-85 Vr by chance, purchased used, in conjunction with the purchase of the D780. Surprise!! Sharp ..., at 70 and 85 significantly higher than 24-120Vr, surprising the absence of the flare in the backlight. But at 24mm I was positively impressed in the face of other reviews, crisp almost to the edges, a reduced distortion compared to the older brother 24-120vr, and a higher resolution in the center. At 50 mm it hardly makes you regret having a fixed, but what a nice comparison... maybe I was lucky. And then light lightweight, a perfect superlight pairing with the 70-300 AF-P for fx format is worth as much. The plastic lampshed, although seey, personally does not bother me that much. Really to recommend

Pros: A blade already at 2.8, Speed, Compactness and Price.

Cons: Maybe none. but calling yourself Tamron is a big challenge.

Opinion: Bought this Christmas, after having first the Nikon 70-200 Vr I, without infamy and without praise, and then, for a few years, the Tamron Vc version... that made me feel like Tamron had grown up in these years. I then took the ver. G2... a more compact hair, a gorgeous Bokeh, but above all sharp. Sharp.... by the way does not suffer from F/B . F/F . etc. etc. ... and it is an exceptional optics, like the previous one, but this one more, improved in stabilization and in the AF. I really recommend it for those who want to make a leap of quality without fainting and get cmq a disarming quality.

nikon_afp70-300_ed_vrNikon AF-P 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 E ED VR

Pros: Embarrassing Full-aperture sharpness even from edge to edge compared to all competition, Extreme Lightness, AF Speed

Cons: Slight VR noise, maybe a bit of the cost... but there's

Opinion: I wanted at all costs a 70-300 to complete my FF kit, but I always thought it wasn't worth spending any more money on a duplicate, already having a 70-200 2.8 (the Tamron G2). I tried many third-party goals as well, but the end result never fully fulfilled me. Then I decided to buy this lens, also to create a superlight set to also associate with the D5600 that I use as a second body.. The sharpness is embarrassing to say the least, especially from the center to the edges, for a zoom, pointed out as medium-economic, to any focal point, even at 300. The automatic MAF is literally baffled: on my D750, the sound of the Step_Motor engine is absent and the moment that passes between the press of the AF button and the beep of the subject acquisition is really nil. The VR anti vibration system is efficient and with a minimum of attention I was able to shoot quietly at 1/25 without any hint of motion. The quality perceived is really high, the colors are really excellent and well balanced. Absence of chromatic aberration, only a very slight flare, at least in the tests carried out. And then, crucially, it's absolutely light.. Light... light, my D750 looks like an APS-C optics.... To try absolutely !!!!!! Update to 11/2020: I tried the optics on the D780 and all its good features seem to enhance even more with a microcontrast myst, in liveview "PERFECT" !!! Eighty-year job Nikon !!!

nikon_18-200vr_v2Nikon AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR II

Pros: IT DOES EVERYTHING!! Light and compact, lAF is very precise and fast, stabilization equally efficient, and sharpens above average for the type of optics that does everything !!

Cons: Slight chromatic aberration at 200mm, lack of tropicalization.

Opinion: Actually, after a long militancy, with satisfaction, with APS-C on my d-7200, I switched to FX with the D750 and D780, and so, wrongly, I sold this lens. But I missed it as a handyman's goal, even though I also had a 24-120 f/4 (fascinated as the 18-200), I needed something more extensive, and so I bought it back by associating it with a D5600 x just in case. What to say, it's really good with excellent sharpness up to 150 even at minimal diarammia, it drops slightly to 200mm, but then , frankly, there is no comparison with a certain average economic competition, I personally consider it one of the best superzooms still on the market, it has taken me in a lot of situations managing to take photos on the fly that I certainly would never have been able to do with a set of interchangeable optics, even if not very bright, always manages to give the best of itself in many situations where readiness and speed make the difference. Now, you find it at a very affordable price.. for me really great and definitely worth + how much it costs.
