canon_24-70_v2Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM II

Pros: Sharpness, AF accuracy, color rendition

Cons: Price still high ma...si knows already departing

Opinion: I came from a Tamron 24-70 VC first series, of which I was still very satisfied, I had the opportunity to buy the used Canon. I was surprised at once the fidelity of the colors rendered, really superior to other lenses, the AF is excellent even in the sports shot, the sharpness only flaw to f/2.8 then always superb, distortion of fact present only at 24 mm but correctable in post. The small defects have already been highlighted by almost all: high price, lack of stabilizer for shots with "long" times, stretching when facing downwards. The only note for me where it does not shine is the fuzzy, however agreeable but I was not surprised as in other respects. To this day a lens of which I am immensely satisfied.

canon_5d_mark_ivCanon 5D Mark IV

Pros: Better noise grain, pose latitude, white balance, dynamic range

Cons: Slight drop in raw sharpness compared to 5DM3

Opinion: I come from 5DM3, before the purchase I had read several opinions discordant in the reviews that had made me hesitant about his purchase. After more than a month of use I consider myself satisfied for the different steps carried out albeit with some cons. I start from the advantages less striking than the valid 5DM3: There has been a clear improvement in white balance, almost never to be retouching in post, the colors I appear truthful already at the first shot. The AF seems more reliable though the previous was already commendable. The dynamic range has been expanded. NET instead the step forward in the quality of noise and latitude of pose: Not that the noise has disappeared from the previous model but the grain of the same is much finer and with almost no chrominance. Also finally the workability on the shadows is satisfactory for me, retrieve them in post does not generate the immediate presence of noise even at low ISO as it was on the 5dm3 (except that a good shot should already be born well exposed). In my view instead the new sensor has lost in sharpness, the raw are born less "crunching", less engraved than the 5DM3, however the detail can be recovered in post. The usability is substantially unchanged, the transition from 5DM3 is immediate and does not disorient, the addition of the Change button of the type change of AF area benefits the speed of shooting, useful and sensitive to the touch display. Basically for those who used Canon, the feeling is always high. I do not express myself on WiFi, GPS as well as the video compartment that I do not use. Ultimately if you can afford the shopping it is a change that I would recommend.

tamron_24-70_f2-8vcTamron 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD

Pros: High f / 4 sharpness, general solid feel, tropicalized, effective stabilizer

Cons: Nervous, cold dominant, 24mm distortion

Opinion: I have been holding this lens for 2 and a half years, but I can only praise it and highlight the few flaws, especially for a really good quality / price ratio. R Very clear in the center by f / 4, it loses its edge on the edges . The stabilizer really appreciated when low light turns it into a good shooting companion. The AF is the characteristic on which I move into criticism with fast-moving subjects: it's not always accurate as in other cases of use, where it does its job well.rn I blurred it I found it nervous, hard ( A user in a little previous review has called me onion and agrees) but this is a matter of merely personal taste. The shades of color that I return are, to my mind, tending to the cold (also here with personal taste), while the shorter focal distortion is quite evident (both corrected in post-production). General quality, resistant to humansDense and dusty, it offers a good feeling of solidity. By virtue of the price it is sold I feel full of advice.

sigma_24-70_f2-8Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM

Pros: Solid construction, resistance to flare, good sharpness in general (except at the edges to large openings), AF satisfactory

Cons: Slight vignetting, lack of tropicalization

Opinion: It 'a lens that I appreciated on Aps-c and I re-evaluated after being passed to FF.rnNitidezza very good in the center and f / 4 and up, it makes at its best between f / 8 and f/11 recovering almost completely even at bordi.rnLodevole crush strength to the reflections in the light. RNAF appreciable, fairly fast and with some difficulty only in areas with little contrast (defect of nearly all lenses). rnCostruzione well-made, solid, after 3 years did not play in the prayers, good grip to tatto.rnE 'my primary lens, excellence is not like other high-end products (Canon 24-70) clearly, but it costs much much less and this makes it, in my opinion, a very good product that must also be evaluated for its value / prezzo.rnSu focal intermediate consider the absence of the stabilizer is not conclusive, there was some help (I think the recent Tamron 24-70), but I do not feel that the mancanza.rnLente definitely recommend it to those who can not afford more expensive products.
