Nikon AF 28-100mm f/3.5-5.6 G Pros: Colors, lightness, interesting and versatile focal on FF. Cons: Not very sharp on cameras with many megapixels, plastic bayonet, VR lack, huge and bulky light screen. Opinion: Unfortunately it lacks sharpness on cameras with very dense sensors even if the colors are good, in any case I highly recommend the lampshon to have greater contrast even if it is really uncomfortable since it is huge and bulky. I had this lens on the Nikon F75 and trying it on digital cameras over 16 mpx does not return a good yield on both Apsc and Full frame bodies. Of course we are talking about an out-of-production lens that has no market now, so if it is in our kit and for photos that are not demanding or important, it is better to keep it as a spare lens, or for use in difficult environments (sea, snow) so as not to risk more expensive equipment, but using very closed diaphragms where the yield improves slightly and on cameras no more than 16 mp , but as soon as possible I recommend to combine it with something more performing. sent on September 03, 2020 |
