nikon_d750Nikon D750

Pros: Raw file quality, high iso hold, double slot, mobile display, dynamic range, multiple exposure mode, solid and compact

Cons: Weight (but it also depends on the optics that mount)

Opinion: Owner for just over a year and tested in various situations, I can finally make my own judgment on this machine. I came from a D5200 and after two years I wanted to make a leap of quality by switching to full frame. The differences found are considerable from many points of view. Raw files are extremely workable in post-production and of a really excellent quality. In some conditions I also shot high isos and the machine holds up very well even at 6400 (the noise is still present although minimal compared to the aps-c). I found the double slot very comfortable and also the tipper screen. The latter very comfortable especially if you are shooting in unusual positions. The only "defect" is the weight, but as already mentioned it also depends on the optics that mount. Typically the use in coupled with a tamron 24-70 g1, and the total weight comes to about 1.2 kg. If you go around shooting a whole day or during a week's holiday (as I happened), you will certainly notice its presence, but the whole thing is bearable. In conclusion I highly recommend this body for those who want to make a leap of quality by switching to full frame, it is really worth all the money spent. Also being a 2014 machine, to date you can find good used even for less than 1000 euros!

sigma_17-70macro_os2Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC OS HSM Macro C

Pros: Weight, vividness of colors, macro, sharpness, versatility, stabilized, brightness

Cons: Lightweight 70mm sharpness loss

Opinion: I bought this lens as a handyman replacing the 18-55 nikkor on my nikon D5200. You immediately perceive the solidity and the lens manufacturing. He's really a great all-rounder. I use it for travel photos, events, street and even sports. Good for macro photos thanks to the very limited focus distance (it does not allow small insects to be captured but still captures images like flowers, details and details). Very good color rendering. It is highly advised for those who like me want to take a step forward in the classical kit kit and for those who love to take pictures during travel. Being my first sigma lens I really got it, promoted to full marks!
