Reviews of cameras, lenses, tripods, heads and other accessories written by Cast98

Microsoft Translator  The following opinions have been automatically translated with Microsoft Translator.

nikon_d5300Nikon D5300

Pros: Complete if you start shooting, good RAW files (Nikon has always been good, as far as I see), price used absolutely competitive, comfortable

Cons: Quite limited if you plan to make many videos (on the other hand there are ml for this), the sensor area overheats a lot in video (and not the screen)

Opinion: Premise. I didn't buy this machine to learn. For the first steps I took an old D3000 (limited time). However, at the used prices that are there today, I would definitely choose this one. It makes honest videos, not great but to have fun it's not bad. Very good RAW file quality, if you shoot in bad light conditions, the file comes to you and this is not a fact to be detractd. It's a reflex that I loved but I also hated it. If you always stay on the basic optics and maybe aspire to something more than just photos with friends, here you start to feel some limitations. In my opinion you have to buy at least one wide-angle to have serious fun with this machine and learn almost everything there is to know. If you want to make more serious videos (perhaps for some customers) forget it. The AF of the video machine is not reliable and also the points are few (only 39). Quality not so high as to justify compensation (in my opinion, but I am a hypercritic). Surely I would take her on the road for photos with the certainty that she does not abandon me or puts me in serious trouble (I was satisfied by the photos I made when I took her to Barcelona). Surely, once purchased, I recommend at least to take a fixed optics or a very bright wide angle. Forget about shooting in a live view, too slow. For the rest, well there is the 7xxx series or the Nikon FF. Ps. Too bad video quality is so limited despite such a comfortable screen. TO BUY IF YOU'RE A NOVICE, THAT'S SAFE.

nikon_55-200dx_vrNikon AF-S DX 55-200mm f/4-5.6 G VR

Pros: Cheap and compact

Cons: Lagnosy Autofocus, not sharp especially when you get closer to 200

Opinion: So, I took this lens used in conjunction with my first car. Needless to tell lies, it's a lens I honestly don't love and that I would change if I had financial availability. Let's be clear, for the price it has (especially when you take it used) the job does it. But. Lagnosy autofocus, and when you go to the 200 while you focus the image "trembles" for a moment. Unclear and above all unthinkable to use when light conditions begin to become slightly difficult. I hope that Nikon can at least improve one of the cons in the future. Not both of them, but at least one. However, in the range of choice between basic objectives, it has an interesting use. The long daytime exposures. Unlike the 18-55 kit, the focus has a dedicated dial. This allows you not to accidentally change the focus when screwing any filter.

manfrotto_pixiManfrotto Pixi

Pros: Compact, durable and well-crafted

Cons: For the price none. If we really wanted to look for the hair in the egg, the lack of a level

Opinion: Let's not make fun of each other. For about 25 euros it is absolutely the best product that is on the market. Even when you pick it up for the first time, you feel like you're not wearing a Chinese plastic. Manfrotto proves to be a leader in the tripod industry thanks to products like this. I still have to try it with the SLR, but for now with the phone it's proving almost flawless. You can also pull the hand grenades and this little tripod stands still. Also comfortable to hold in your hand thanks to the slightly blunt shapes of the various feet. Well, maybe if there had been space a small level would have been convenient. For the rest, well congratulations to Manfrotto. Small note for those who also buy the smartphone clamp: it's quite hard, it can be synonymous with solidity but it's still nice hard.

oneplus_7proOnePlus 7 Pro

Pros: Great photo business. Fast. Precise. High-quality screen. So many pros.

Cons: Occasionally in portrait mode the blur is not super precise.

Opinion: It's the first top-of-the-range smartphone I buy, so for me it's also like being in the land of the Balact. The phone is a splinter, even just the basic version can please most customers. Screen of excellent quality, like the photo department. The three cameras work almost flawlessly, while the internal one never makes jokes and does not go out while it is in the pocket (there may be a risk if you want to activate face detection). By the way: face detection and also ultra-precise and fast footprints. Like I said, I'm struggling to find cons. Too big? I don't think so, because after a short time you get used to it. Photo: night mode ok, lets out photos of excellent quality. Rarely (but alas it happens) the bokeh is not very precise in portrait mode. You can shoot it in RAW and there is also Pro mode. Great videos: both video and slow motion also in 4K (for 60 FPS videos). Conclusions: if you have the chance, buy it. It's like having a Ferrari.

manfrotto_compact_actionManfrotto Compact Action

Pros: Cheap, great for getting started, it's not fragile (unlike other entry level tripods), light so convenient for travel.

Cons: The cost of the plate that you use to attack the camera (minimum price €30, then more than half of the tripod to start)

Opinion: I'm still a beginner in the use of tripods, but already from the first use I fell in love with this compact tripod. It's great for trips and most importantly you don't feel it too much in the back. As I wrote in the cons, careful not to lose the plate otherwise are cà # Ài Amari. For what you spend is good, the head is comfortable to use and you could also use it initially for videomaking. I recommend absolutely buying

jupiter_200_f4Jupiter 21M - 200mm f/4

Pros: Very vintage and pleasant photo rendering. Nice blurred in the background if the distance from the subject is adequate. You find it cheaply. Resistant

Cons: A bit 'of chromatic aberrations but not very annoying. The weight is really important, we are talking about a mini metal and glass tank. Someone in my opinion should build something to allow you to use the tripod.

Opinion: It's a vintage lens that I found among the things of my grandmother and therefore I did not have great ambitions. Evidently I had to change my mind. During an evening at the theater the lens was even better than the Nikon 55-200 f / 4.5-5.6. Of course, if you're tired of heavy tools, this lens is not for you. It is completely made of metal and glass, which makes it very resistant. Every now and then there are chromatic aberrations but nothing disastrous. Taking into account the fact that this lens is on the market at a price of around € 70, I think it is absolutely worth it. I would also spend € 50 more to take it if I did not have it. Very "soft" light that makes the photos pleasant. I advise. It also makes you do exercises for the biceps.

nikon_d3000Nikon D3000

Pros: Great entry level for those who want to get started in the world of photography

Cons: Being a very "entry" entry level can be very limited after a bit of use. AF that sometimes makes the whims and after the 800 ISO the car starts to not hold the noise well

Opinion: I'm telling you it's still my first camera and I have not upgrade to any higher level yet. As a first impression I can say that for those who have a very limited budget (I used it for 150 € with a Nikon 18-55 VR lens and a 55-200 VR, a good value for money deal) and maybe want to start To get into the world of photography, it's great. The ISO ranges from 100 to 1600 with the possibility of extending up to 3200, but after the 800 ISO noise is beginning to get very annoying in the photos. Overall, the AF is not bad, but 11 points sometimes make it hard to focus automatically, and to have certain effects you have to switch to manual focus. Nice to shoot both in automatic, semi-automatic (with various landscape modes, portrait, etc.) and the four manual modes. The only thing that left me dry mouth is the absence of a video mode, CAN NOT MAKE VIDEO. If you already go to the modelsLater as the D3100 and children, videos can be made. All in all I get a rating of 7 and, for what it is worth in terms of cost, already does good things. rnP.S. I'm hit by the battery, the former owner has never changed it and still has a long life. A small jewel of Nikon's home
