Canon 1100D Pros: Price/performance ratio, lightness, battery life and machine body Cons: Noise above 800 ISO, autofocus accuracy Opinion: After having had a compact Canon for a few years I went to the 1100d that was my first reflex and that has the great merit of having me passionate about amateur photography. When you buy it you already know that it is an entry level, so you can not expect superlative performance. It has a plasticose but sturdy construction, the sharpness is not exceptional but improves with better lenses than the 18-55mm standard. The accuracy of the autofocus is not at the highest levels and if you are not careful of the times it can happen that going to cover the photo to the computer is blurry. An expected nuisance is the noise present above 800 ISO, which really becomes consistent over the 1600. The files that it results in anyway are appreciable and excellent for those who are in the beginning and want to make the bones. At the time of its release it had a very good price/performance ratio. I used it very satisfactorily for 6 years, then I switched to a 6d which of course is another world, but the 1100d I also held it with me;) sent on October 16, 2017 |
