sigma_18-35_f1-8Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art

Pros: Build quality, sharpness, brightness, color rendition

Cons: Lack stabilizer (but the focal lengths are rather reduced)

Opinion: I state that I am a newcomer and therefore I am not able to analyze this lens perfectly, but it is a few months that they are in possession and I must say that I am very satisfied. The images returned are beautiful, crisp and with really nice colors and "full". My specimen suffers in an obvious way of FB Focus but I have corrected easily in my Canon 80d. I had no problems, except the one described earlier, with AF which I found accurate and fast. The price is not high but in my opinion is correct for a view of this quality. I do not have a direct "qualitative" comparison between the Sigma and the competitors, but to have a lens of this level I believe that for example Canon requires you much more. I unfortunately have a little shaky hands and the lack of the stabilizer "disturbs" a little, but it is absolutely not a flaw especially the reduced focal views. I highly recommend it.

tamron_70-200_f2-8vc_g2Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2

Pros: Sharpness, stabilizer for me mind-blowing, chromatic rendition

Cons: No one for now.

Opinion: It is a few months that I bought this lens, and the price has made me shaky on the choice for a long time, especially because I'm a novice amateur. But now that I bought it, I'm very satisfied. I had already ome optics that gave me great satisfaction, but this 70-200 is really beautiful, at least for me and the uses I do. Af is pretty fast and accurate, my specimen maybe suffers a capellino of FB focus, but almost imperceptible. The stabilizer, for now tried only on position 1 (it has 3 of which one for panning), is spatial, and speaks to you one that already with the fixed 50 of the Canon (jar of 10 cm) shakes like a leaf in the wind. Sharpness and Blur really very very beautiful, as well as color rendition. To want to do just the fussy, but fussy, the only thing that for now I do not love is the lens hood that is obviously very cumbersome but what I do not appreciate is the plastic with which it was made, from the impression of being rather fragile. I recommend it big.
