Dell'Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport nella versione "Testa Fissa"… qui visibile in fotografia… furono costruiti solo 6 esemplari… tutti con la carrozzeria aperta… presso la Carrozzeria di Ugo Zagato in Milano e fra di loro presentano differenti allestimenti così che ognuno è un'esemplare unico. Questa in fotografia è del tipo "Barchetta"… cioè senza alcun tipo di protezione per l'equipaggio in caso di maltempo… mentre erroneamente a volte la sua carrozzeria viene definita come Spider o anche Roadster. La denominazione “Testa Fissa” deriva dal fatto che il blocco motore e la testata sono realizzati in un pezzo unico. Il motore di 1752 cm3… dotato di 6 cilindri in linea… era equipaggiato con un compressore volumetrico Roots che gli permetteva di erogare 102 cavalli di potenza per portare la vettura fino alla velocità massima di 170 chilometri orari. L'esemplare qui visibile in fotografia nel 1934 partecipò alla 1000 Miglia… con il numero di gara 34… gara che era partita nella piovosa domenica dell' 8 aprile ed era condotta da Giuseppe “Nino” Farina e Luigi dalla Chiesa. Nino Farina nel 1950 sarà il 1° pilota ad aggiudicarsi il neonato Campionato Mondiale di Formula 1... allora denominato Campionato Piloti... alla guida di una Alfa Romeo 158. Questa vettura è spesso esposta presso il Louwman Museum sito a Den Haag (L'Aia in italiano) in Olanda.
