hand held.

A great tribute to a Great Man, Pilot with a heart as deep and silent were his works for good.
It's not just a myth but an example.
Thane Luciano for remembering him and for making him known to many young people.

... I was glued to the TV, as always in those years; your words have brought me back to memory everything in detail ... as if it had happened yesterday. Thank you Luciano for your testimony. Of idols as children there is usually only one; my - for personal reasons - was Jim Clark , another absolute phenomenon whose professional and human history is in many ways reminiscent of that of Senna :-.

Thanks to this image and the vague memory of that weekend (I was a teenager at the time), I took advantage of it to see an old voyager broadcast service on that absurd weekend where there were multiple accidents.
I find it absurd that the race in which Senna died continued until the end and that they also proceeded to the awards....
I hope that 27 years later, safety has increased (for vehicles for sure).

Thank you very much LucianoSerra.d for reminding us of it. It was in my head on April 25th) that damn day, May 1st, in Imola: I was there in that bend not even 100 meters from Ayrton with the reflex and a 300mm ... I leave out the dramatic details precisely in his respect, I just remember being incredulous, grounded ... those of the Ansa I remember asked me for the roll ... The thing is, I couldn't take a single, single picture in those very long minutes... well I didn't regret it at all, ever. It was right like this (I have no cloth as a photojournalist): I have always had deep respect for those who leave life, especially in that way... and those who love G.P,cars, their sound, the competition and the courage of the drivers can understand what I write about. Ayrton was one of F1's greatest drivers and a great man. A thought also to Ratzenberger and one, it costs little, even to Jill with a Thank you to all of them. RIP.
