Looking at your pictures and reading the caption that accompanies it seems to me to return to India: I resent the smells and scents, the 'aroma of spices, the feelings, the exchange of mutually curious glances, and the perception, at least for my personal experience, to always be "accepted". Well, dear Michael, an 'image of great evocative power and communicative and I share the views of those who preceded me, I prefer the color version. Compliments.
Best regards, Roberto.

Dear Roberto,
I'm really happy that you, you know that India, has recognized in my words something that is yours. :-P
Thank you very much for having me transferred to your feelings about the precious Earth and have liked my picture and the words that accompany it.
A salutone:-P

In my opinion one of the strengths of this shot are just the colors, and the version in b / w, in my opinion, loses an essential element.
Then, color ... :-D ;-), I love it.

Hello Michael, I like both versions (B & W and color) even though, for this shot, in my humble opinion, it is preferable color. Your caption, as I have already said, it helps to better permeate the essence of a trip in itself extremely eloquent. The colors of the food (a vital element of the body) and the pride of the eye (the mirror spiritito) of the seller, are the elements connoting the image IMHO, the first reaction to the squalor of poverty and overcome him, the second enhances the inner dignity of a people proud of their "ethnos" and spirituality. Another great document! Congratulations!

Ciaoo,:-P

Adolfo

;-) PS I wait for the report.

Dear Adolf,
in this case, you have fully grasped what I believe to be the essence of this release and, once again, thank you for your sensitivity and attention you spend in the 'read' my photos and what when, as in this case, it comes to photo reportage.
Thanks again and a ciaoo ;-)
Michela

PS:
I'm waiting for reports

Hello Michela!
PP A very nice, bright and detailed even in the shadows, shadows that are so special but prominently. So a good shot for a scene of reportage: we are working hard in learning expressive photography, I think! And you are right .... be versatile is not easy!
A different processing BN could perhaps make it more justice: that is posted too smooth, lacking differences between shadow and light (basically the opposite of the color ...) But IMHO you could not get a picture better or worse, but a ' other photo.
If you allow exhaust and try ...
With undiminished pleasure
GG
