This I want to enjoy myself! The first who tried Burano and macro black and white it was me .... I have demolished. Needless to say, I like it! I only used a diffuser in front of the light source or reflector panel to the left in the shadows less clear.

I think the picture is beautiful and I find it particularly pleasing choice of black and white.
I find that a typical macro floral but rather a graphic from the evocative content.
I think you're showing your precise style anything but simple and trivial.
Your images always have the ability to attract the eye and mind of the beholder; very often have multiple levels of reading and that I like very much. Compliments. Cecilia

Hello Michela
I really like this your new work reflects your sensitivity, and outlines a precise research into the composition, by no means trivial.
Many congratulations, hello Alessandro

:-) Dear Alexander, thank you very much for your kind words and especially for appreciating a fact to which I care a lot and I try to develop in my shots: the composition ;-).
Thank you and a warm greeting!

Hello, Michela, this picture is yet more evidence (if any were needed) that a thousand different people will look and see and hear the same object in a thousand different ways. The way you feel, as you said Cecilia, is increasingly connoting and I have the impression that you're really finding your own personal style, in which one element seems to lord it (IMHO): the curvilineità ;-). What is the composition, in the intertwining, the geometry of the photo, in the subject, in the glare of lights or shades, etc.., It breaks and I clearly perceptible. I love this picture, even more than the previous year. Congratulations and Ciaoo ;-), Adolfo

The orchid is a flower stylish and full of color ... it would never have occurred to me to photograph in black and white ...... you did and I really like the result!!
Brava! :-)

Dear Adolfo is true, there are many ways of seeing and expressing the same object / subject and this is the beauty of our individuality and it is also what allows us to enrich appreciation of "points of view" different, sometimes opposing, to ours. ;-)
You're right on the fact that the curvilinear element is often present in my shots, I do not like the rigidity of form, nor the sharpness of expression (in any form!) And always prefer curves, wavy lines or spiral. This is also in my writing (all my voice end up with an undine:-D) and even in scribbles. The geometric transposed into photography for me is really an exception to that indulge rarely, and almost with a sense of transgression.
In graphology saysthat the frequent representation of curves and swaying represents a continuous and deep search for inner harmony and aesthetics ... maybe it is. ;-)
Needless to say, I like you, I prefer this over the other ;-).
Thanks for your attention, analysis, your compliments and especially for your friendship!
Do not miss a ciaoo .... ;-)

Dearest Clara first thank you! :-P I'm so glad that you enjoyed the photo :-)
The orchids that I capture are micro-orchids, just smallish smallish and when I tried to apply the color change in b / w I realized how their forms and their peculiarities emerge in spite of the absence of color in some way and certainly in my opinion ;-), distracted by their beauty. Glad you agree with this my original and some questionable choice. :-P
Another thanks and a dear, dear greeting!
Michela
