The photo is very beautiful and the presentation complete and exhaustive, congratulations. I have a doubt as to why the cross cut, so much so it is not inattention but choice.

Thank you for your welcome visits and appreciations,
Gianni and Pinitti.
Thanks also to you Mr. Mario, perfect observation yours. An unintended choice but wanted because of the point of recovery, little space and various disturbances.
In the end I gave up and decided to cut the iron cross in the foreground and keep the wooden one inside.
A good hello, good Sunday.
Fabrizio

Beautiful image, with dark sky that increases its drama. Always fascinating, but sad, these military cemeteries.

Look at that! :-D Finally a new photo of Fabrizio... With a Sony!!! :-o :-o
Even you charmed by weight reduction? ;-)
The place is very nice and suggestive (even the dramatic sky helps) and overall you did a good job!
I would have asked you about the cross cut :-D , but you have already answered and I understand: sometimes the composition is rather "obligatory". At the limit you could shoot later, but in fact the other crosses are not so characteristic...
Hello, Alberto.

Hi Alberto, yes I got myself a little gift :-D (an opportunity I couldn't miss) not to charge too much my battered back :-(
By the composition as I said, I was clinging to the wall, only half a step back and I would have dropped a metre from the shooting point I had chosen.
Rightly as you say, the other crosses I needed to complete the image but not be the protagonists.
Fabrizio ;-)

A significant shot well thought out, for the shot will mean that you will take a nice 10mm, for that machine it takes :-D
A greeting

Hi Claudius, I agree.
I was thinking of a 10-18 for the rest I get used to with the optics I have, with ring adapter.
A dear greeting ;-)

Hi Ric, I should be used to it by now.
Even this time you surprised me with this incredible and interesting reading of this image of me.
A place of peace that, with its silence, manages to make itself heard more than a noisy city.
Thank you for your welcome ride.

I know this site very well and I visit it almost annually and I also posted a photo that takes it.
The shot is beautiful and for the realization and for the message it conveys.
