After the previous two Juza entries, whilst still dark, I got the first bus out of Salisbury to Old Sarum Hillfort - and the fog was THICK.
As the sky paled slightly, (no sunrise) it started to rain, as you can see on the planks on the drawbridge. My tripod had to be pushed hard up over the locked gates and held there as it was not tall enough! (2 m)
I had to take several attempts, all the while a little red light and little blue light shone through the fog to remind, as the warning sign said, "You are being Watched, on 24 hour CCTV".
This accentuated the feel of paranoia as I surely would be caught by their cameras, and with Halloween looming, I thought The Devil's Eye being how our every movement is being caught on a camera, somewhere.
The blue is largely as it was, though I had to sharpen up the image a little as the usually excellent Samyang isn't great in the corners wider than f5.
I am expecting delivery of a Sigma EX 4.5mm circular fisheye (used) on Monday, so even more creative fisheye fun in store! |
