Si può vedere anche a colori -.-.Inaugurata nel dicembre 2001 è uno spazio culturale e multimediale all'interno di Palazzo d'Accursio, antica sede storica del Comune che si affaccia su Piazza Maggiore, da sempre centro e cuore della bolognesità. Che cosa sia stata nel tempo la parte nord del palazzo di città che si affaccia su Piazza Nettuno ce lo raccontano gli scavi archeologici intrapresi nel corso dei lavori dell'attuale sistemazione di Salaborsa. Le tracce di edifici pubblici e religiosi e l'assetto urbanistico testimoniano che il luogo è stato fin dalle origini il baricentro della vita pubblica cittadina. I primi interventi di recupero dell'area Salaborsa rientrano nell'ambito del più vasto progetto di riqualificazione denominato Parco urbano di Piazza Maggiore, che nel 1999 imprime una svolta significativa nella destinazione della Piazza coperta a luogo dedicato alla cultura. L'ultima ristrutturazione rispetta l'impianto del preesistente architettonico e la stratificazione degli edifici che si è formata in sette secoli di storia urbana. Oggi, negli scavi visibili sotto il cristallo, il cammino a ritroso nel tempo si snoda lungo la passerella appesa alla struttura e ci guida lungo un percorso storico di grandissima suggestione e fascino. Dal possente parametro murario della cisterna rinascimentale del Terribilia, scavalcando i basolati e le fondazioni della basilica romana, costeggiando il muro di cinta della casa a torre medioevale, si intravede la vasca a stella che stava al centro del giardino, a testimoniare ancora una volta la centralità del luogo nella sua nuova destinazione di biblioteca, piazza dei saperi e della cultura plurimediale contemporanea. #fisheye

It 'very nice even color but' occasionally prefer the version in b & w (this down to the wire but ') ;-).
