Il lago Gover, di origine artificiale, si trova nei pressi del capoluogo. Circondato da pini ed abeti secolari, il lago è in una posizione magnifica per chi vuole ammirare la catena del Monte Rosa. Nel corso dei mesi estivi nel laghetto è possibile praticare la pesca sportiva: inoltre, la presenza di un ampio parco giochi attrezzato e di varie attività di animazione per bambini, rendono la zona estremamente piacevole per trascorrere delle belle giornate all'aperto. Durante la stagione invernale invece, il lago viene trasformato in pista di pattinaggio su ghiaccio naturale. Dal laghetto è possibile raggiungere il Castello Savoia percorrendo la passeggiata della Regina, un breve e semplice sentiero in mezzo al bosco della durata di circa 30 minuti.
