at 340mm, 1/160 f/7.1, ISO 400, hand held. Specie: Asio abyssinicus

this time there is no doubt !! owl of abissinia is now considered a separate species but it is extremely similar to our long-eared owl, and for a long time considered a sottospecie.complimenti both for discovery and for trip which is good considering the intricate and the shutter speed setting ...: -o

If I had not told me confused with our common owl, but in support of my misidentification least I commented Steff which confirmed the similarity of the two species, which even before was considered only subspecies. Congratulations for the meeting and the beautiful shooting

As I understand it is the first time a specimen of this species is published in Juzaforum. Needless to say that it is rare and endemic to the Horn of Africa.

You brought an excellent document on the forum: -o is very resembling to our Owl comune..ottimamente resumed with good details, I would say a nice soggetto..bravo Andrea ...
Compliments
