Thank Sapf passage,
it was just a processing choice, I wanted to stay soft with the galaxy and bring out the beautiful star field, hoping to have succeeded.

Beautiful, I especially like these shots wide field ...
But I was expecting a lot more detail on M31 by an integration of four hours! why?

beautiful image and excellent performance of the 105 ;-)
Zeppo: unfortunately these focal is very difficult to have the details ... long exposure (among other things with the individual just 4 minutes which are not many) need to give softness to the whole, reduce the noise and have depth in parts weak and extended (v. alone) ... but the detail is given only by the focal shooting ... if your "system" is understood as a coupled sensor (pixel size) and fiber does not allow you to solve a detail can also integrate 100 hours but that detail does not give you the same ;-)

Many thanks to the steps and congratulations!
Many thanks Francis!
And thanks for your explanation Zeppo, as well as share it, I could not express myself better! A longer focal would definitely treated differently Galaxy.
In fact, this Sigma is surprising to me in deep, thinking that I had taken only for my macros, and I decided to try it just for the event on the sky.
