Yes. I'm looking to get a decent desktop before too long, so hopefully I'll be able to get the colour balanced between desktop and iPad.

I'm heading off to spend time with Mum today and off up north with her tomorrow - a last minute arrangement that we only made on Tuesday! Hope you get some great night shots!

Yes, you do need a decent PC and large monitor (mine's 24", so I can see every detail!), not just for the viewing but for the extra computing power and flexibility that a desktop allows.

So, you'll be away for a while, getting photos from layby's and such, then?!

Just checked, there's a half moon tonight, so enough light for shooting. (with tripod, of course)
