I'm very reticent about jumping for joy over shots of the moon, Ann, as I'm sure you know by now. For instance, your Strawberry Moon could be any old moon! It usually seems that the person with the biggest lens gets the better shot, which is not a guide to artistic merit, of course. I do like very much moons in a landscape but when the image area is predominantly black, less so. I'm still wondering if I should post my 400mm Strawberry Full Moon taken at Stonehenge, opposite the rising sun. It doesn't include the ground, but does have some interesting clouds and colours, though.

I will like this one on this occasion though as I like the title and the inclusion of the aerial. But now you know that I will not automatically be commenting or liking straight moon shots in the past or the future.

I know your thoughts on moon shots, Tim, and wasn't sure that you would comment - although this is more a fun shot with no attempt to to see whether or not I can photograph the craters of the moon with the kit that I have.....

Thanks for the comment and 'like'! I'd be interested to see the one you took.

(Labelled Strawberry Moon for my own reference)

Beautiful realization Ann
It seems that of a satellite TV antenna :-)
A greeting

Thanks very much, Ardian! Of course, you are right but I was allowing my imagination to get a little carried away! Sorriso

I had read your reply on the bus home this morning Ann and almost forgot that I perhaps should reply! (And definitely will if I don't do so now)

Of course you should label it the Strawberry Moon - that is what it is after all! Though it's not exactly strawberry pink...

We'll see about my one - made more interesting as as that moment the lens decided it wanted to mist up (perhaps it all suddenly went cold?) and so added a little more atmosphere - I'll see how it looks when edited, tomorrow!

True - but then the name has nothing to do with its colour, does it? I could have made it pink, I suppose.....

No, it doesn't - we're talking at cross purposes and as I commented on your other one, am far too tired to be able to even think! Have a good evening! I might retry the poppies again tomorrow.

I knew you didn't mean it ought to be pink! Time you took that nap! :)
