E meraviglioso vivere il periodo delle migrazioni e delle nidificazioni qui in Islanda. Alla fine dell'inverno decine di specie di uccelli sono arrivati: ogni angolo nei dintorni della Capitale si è trasformato in una specie di riserva naturale. E' emozionante passeggiare la sera nella luce del tramonto (verso le 23), nel silenzio assoluto, ed osservare questi animali nel loro ciclo vitale, immutato dalla notte dei tempi. Da questo punto di vista l'Islanda è ancora una terra unica e straordinaria. Basta conoscerla e saperla esplorare.. e tenersi lontano dagli autobus carichi di turisti e fotografi.

I did not come to Iceland (not Ireland) to photograph the Germans, but I photographed them because I live here (I live in Reykjavik to understand). Here in Iceland most of the population of Germans emigrated during the winter, mainly to the British Isles. (Some individuals remain permanent even in winter here).
However, she wanted to tell the description of the image of the summer when Icelandic beauty, after a long, dark winter, everything is full of life and colors.
