Portrait very nice and well done. It could have been better appreciated with a larger version :) A question on the composition: under the signature, that piece of green that we see what is? a staple? a part of the band? In the case of a bandage of life I think that could be interesting mainly enhance it with a compo who understood a little more by removing above. But of course it is only an opinion in retrospect is not present in the set, maybe this is definitely the best choice. (It was just pure curiosity mine).
Reflections in the eyes it seems that you used illumination light to three points, or at least the use of a curved panel at the bottom under the face that embraces both sides of the face, I find it a very solutioneguata for the portrait. The soft box on the top left as well as brighten your hair properly delineates a tad bit of light on the nose that helps to give depth to the face, which otherwise might risk appearing too flat because the lighting uniformity (both sides). I tried to add a small blow Front imperceptible flash, maybe slightly angled to give that little more light on the eyes allowing for better color reading and at the same time lightening the small shadow cast by the nostril (but it is only a sophism :) ) Of course all of the above is purely my personal opinion take it as such, as mentioned before not being present on the set is just a rumination in retrospect :) A greeting Baldassarre Ritratto molto gradevole e ben realizzato.
