Chairs in Church... sent on November 25, 2015 (5:08) by Timk2. 15 comments, 1545 views. [retina]

at 17mm, 1/125 f/10.0, ISO 250, hand held.

July 2013. Taken with old version of the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 OS, which I briefly owned. I sold it as its performance at wide open apertures was not quite good enough for low light live music photography, though it remained a really good and practical lens for landscape and general use. I now am very seriously considering buying its replacement, Sigma's new 'Contemporary' version, especially as I have a standard f2.8 16-50mm for low light and test results I've seen show a marked improvement in performance over the old, especially at the long end and at the edges wide open. With stabilisation and close focus facility, it is also faster and brighter than my usual Nikkor 16-85mm f3.5-5.6 VR. #BlackAndWhite #Churches
