Osservavamo impotenti sapendo benissimo il disastro che era in atto in quegli istanti.
Dopo 45 minuti siamo riusciti ad arrivare a Joplin...le vie periferiche erano perfettamente integre, ma proseguendo verso il percorso del tornado, si apriva improvvisamente uno squarcio nella città...semplicemente non c'era più nulla.
Alcuni di noi sono entrati in ciò che restava delle case per cercare sopravvissuti, purtroppo abbiamo assistito a scene di chi non ce l'ha fatta.
