A little bit more than 1 year ago I've had the chance to play with the well known Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens. A very fine lens in general for sure, with a lot of qualities but... in my opinion not better in real macro range (0.5X and above) than some known enlarger/bellows lens like Rodagon D 75, Olympus 80 mm and others. But still... a very nice companion for the MP-E lens, for sure!

Worth seeing in high resolution version!

Stack info: Canon 5D Mark II, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM
35 natural light exposures, f5.6, ISO 100

I believe that a similar result is seen to be satisfied with the good detail proceeds.
For personal taste would bring balance with the color red to +15.
