L'idea alla base del progetto fotografico è quella di rappresentare la musica accolta dallo spazio del NOVA (Nuovo Opificio per le Arti), sito industriale dismesso, Liguria, La Spezia, comune di S. Stefano di Magra. Gli scatti riguardano gli strumenti musicali, ripresi di giorno, nel contesto dei preparativi dell'evento, al netto della moltitudine di persone che lavora per realizzarlo. Oggetti inanimati, che di li a poco inonderanno l'area dello stabilimento di musica e suoni, che sembrano contemplare l'architettura della fabbrica dismessa. Il confronto a breve distanza fra ciò che è attuale e moderno e la staticità delle vecchie mura dell'opificio. Il concerto, spettacolo che ognuno vive in maniera assolutamente personale, è spesso decontestualizzato dallo spazio che lo accoglie, la fotografia del concerto è reportage dell'evento ma dice poco o nulla dell'area che lo ospita. L'intento del piccolo progetto, che spero di poter sviluppare nel corso dei prossimi spettacoli (musicali e non), è quello di raccontare dell'ospitalità della vecchia fabbrica che cerca di rinnovarsi e trasformarsi in qualcosa d'altro.
