Villa Pisani, detta anche la Nazionale, è uno dei più celebri esempi di villa veneta della Riviera del Brenta; sorge a Stra, in provincia di Venezia, e si affaccia sul Naviglio del Brenta. È oggi sede di un museo nazionale, che conserva opere d'arte e arredi del Settecento e dell'Ottocento Venne costruita a partire dal 1721 su progetto di Gerolamo Frigimelica.All'epoca della costruzione la Villa contava 114 stanze (ora 168), in omaggio al 114° doge di Venezia Alvise Pisani. La sua monumentalità ha fatto sì che fosse più volte scelta come residenza o come sede per incontri tra monarchi e capi di stato o di governo; villa Pisani ha ospitato tra gli altri anche Napoleone Bonaparte che nel 1807 la acquistò dalla famiglia Pisani (ridottasi sul lastrico per debiti di gioco) [1] per il viceré d'Italia Eugenio di Beauharnais. In questi giorni ospita la mostra "Luce su Venezia-viaggio nella fotografia dell'ottocento " con splendide foto in bianco e nero che permettono di confrontare la Venezia di quel secolo con quella di oggi. A me è piaciuta moltissimo
