Inverno in appennino

A splash on the stone sent on March 27, 2014 (13:15) by Massimo Bonini. 11 comments, 971 views.

, 1/5 f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod.

Suggerimenti sempre graditi.

The location and 'beautiful, I love the Apennines in all seasons. Heaven when there is so' (clean up) does not do justice to the landscape and it 'in my opinion disturbing vision of the image. I would try to cut the photos in landscape format, eliminating the most 'can reduce the cloudless sky and a little' the lawn in the foreground.

Show that the Stone has always fascinated me. The PDR with grass in the foreground is particularly light down there with the clouds and the mountains is magical. :-)

hello max! good idea, but in my opinion, does not do justice because I struggled to find the stone ..
In this case, I think you had to find something on the first floor that would bring the look of the stone (I understand the intent of the snow but I think it's weak ...) or you went to zoommavi on canvas and stone composing otherwise!

Tell me what you think?

Always fascinating our stone and our Apennines, in all seasons, I would just cut a little 'lawn in the foreground,,,, all the rest compliments,,, hello Mirco:-P

Personally, I would cut a panoramic lift the frame I do not think would serve to very (very clean and I see the sky without clouds in the upper part) and the foreground (though beautiful) and 'very intrusive and distracting from the stunning views of Stone and Monte Ventasso at sunset.
It is still a very good achievement Maximus and the visual and 'always magic ;-)

Thanks to all of the steps! I try to respond to everyone.
@ Raphael: thank you very much, I'm glad to know that you enjoy a little of the Apennines, I hope that this little picture you have sent the

(Good or bad you have suggested the same thing, the answer is structured so there gathering:-D): before you post, I had the same your doubts, both on the first floor is the very first cloudless sky. I've tried (even now, before answering) to cut the top and bottom and I do not mind this overview that comes out. But (there's always a but:-D), what emerges is a picture with the stone in sight, detailed, clearly visible, ventassor background. Have you ever seen a photo like this:-D? This just arrived on the spot, I saw those strips of snow that pointed (almost) where I wanted to shoot and I said "My!" , A very strong first floor that would bring slowly to explore the peaks (all) of the background. I also tried to go over to have a lower floor but the first traces of snow but they disappeared I moved more and more, I tried to make the shot where they were the most important, striped and with a single direction. It 'a try, so I just tried to explain why' of this shot composed, I do not want to defend at all costs, so all opinions are welcome, as always. Gianluca, what you write, I did it:-D but I have not posted because I already have one in the gallery, and no snow fall for the truth, but it seemsno two sisters.
If what happened on the tip of Ventasso would take place throughout the frame, it would be time to cry, if you can enlarge it.
Thanks again, I think the final version will still be a little cut:-D:-D:-D ...

Hello Max, I agree with what you said the other, the scene had potential, the shot is not bad, well managed technically, but it seems too broad, it is hard to find a subject, the light on the far right is actually fabulous ;-)
A greeting.

Thanks for the ride, Catherine, for the shot, I tried to do something different as I have "papirato":-D above, something closer but I wanted opinions on this shot. With the 17/40 (I never had goals so wide) I always try a closeup powerful, I have yet to find a proper balance.
the shot is not bad, technically well-run
This heartened me, I've worked so hard to get a balance that I was fine because there are different plans and those far away I struggled to make them warm in tone with the first floor.
