In questa foto lo sfondo è bianco e anonimo così da rendere l'immagine piatta proprio come in un disegno come dal commento che precede, nelle altre è confuso così da non isolare perfettamente il soggetto.

Innanzitutto scusami per il grande ritardo della risposta: in questi giorni ho avuto poco tempo da dedicare al forum.
Non hai proprio nulla di cui farti perdonare, scherzi?
Una precisazione: tu parli di queste "macro" con fiori sintetici...questa è l'unica tra quelle che ho postato che ritrae un fiore sintetico.
Ma ciò non è importante... Il fatto è che sono perfettamente d'accordo con te su tutto quanto hai espresso e che però trovo applicabile esclusivamente a scatti fatti in natura a soggetti ancora non attività, a foto che vengono studiate a lungo e talora anche preventivamente preparate (vedi l'uso dei pannellini che alcuni fanno per lo sfondo).
Il contesto di questo scatto è tutt'altro... In un ambiente artificiale come questo se si decide di fotografare, ed io così ho deciso, non si ha la possibilità di intervenire su nulla e le farfalle in piena attività si posano solo per alcuni istanti.
Dunque non obietto al contenuto delle tue considerazioni, dico solo che non si possono applicare a scatti che già in partenza hanno i limiti della situazione sopra descritta nella quale si effettuano. Questa foto in particolare poi è alquanto strana: io stessa ho scritto che il tutto sembrava "finto", una sorta di still life che casualmente mi sono trovata a fotografare. L'ho ritenuto comunque uno scatto particolare ed ho deciso di postarlo.
Che NON ti piaccia, va benissimo!!! Lo posso capire.
Spero di offrirti in futuro degli scatti eseguiti in natura che si possano apprezzare anche in base agli elementi che correttamente hai indicato.
