Sri Lanka. Quel giorno mi sono alzato alle 5 per arrivare a Matara (costa sud del Sri Lanka) alle 7 e partire con un'imbarcazione per cercare di avvistare le balene. La barca era piccolina (11 metri circa) e l'oceano indiano abbastanza mosso. Abbiamo subito puntato verso il largo ed abbiamo navigato (ballato) per 2 ore e mezzo senza incontrare nulla. Trascuro la situazione sanitaria a bordo (quasi nessuno stava bene). Poi finalmente le abbiamo incrociate. Sulla barca si saltava di brutto ed io non riuscivo neanche ad inquadrare. Però è stato emozionante. Fantastico e lo rifarei.
