È un divertissement per turisti il giro nel deserto in groppa al cammello per vedere le luci dell'alba. Lì per lì ti sembra qualcosa di magico, come se fossi il primo a provare un'esperienza del genere. Ti pare tutto suggestivo: è esattamente dove vorresti essere. Lì e in quel momento, con le stelle, le dune che prendono fuoco poco alla volta, il silenzio dei grandi spazi. Poi, quando il sole fa capolino, ti accorgi che Abdul vuole venderti quelle pietre che hai visto nel salotto di tua zia e che da piccola ti raccontavano essere la pipì fossile dei cammelli.
