I have carefully read the caption and are a bit 'fought in expressing my opinion.
The dynamism imprinted in my opinion is too much, too fast, gives me more the feeling of a speeding car that's slow but inexorable passage of time.
Looking at the picture I can not find reference points, I do not know what to look if you do not dwell on the colors that are in fact sad and melancholy.
I think the idea is good, you should try again with a more short time, Time passes slowly and you have to find the right compromise to represent him.
Greetings
Federico

Comment as required in # 2306022] this thread :
I wonder why, after reading your description (
To represent the passing of time I put into motion the swing and the long time did the rest
), before seeing the photo, I was convinced to find a photo taken with the camera on a tripod. I imagined then moving swing as the only representation of time passing. From your description I imagined the
crucial place
well clear. The swing, but also the whole idea, I loved it, an unchangeable element, given that ideally we've played you, but also past generations, and we will play the future. Seeing the picture instead I find nothing in your explanation, the fort moved with no element ofI reference poses serious problems to give an interpretation, which would still be very different from your intent. It is and try again, you're you're convinced of, insist adopting other techniques to print your design on the photo. A greeting.

Dear Paul also sincerely thank you for your visit and for their valuable comments!
I would just like to point out that in my description does not speak of "crucial place," but only of time and cycles of seasons. If you re-read my description you will see that the playground of which I speak I met him by chance and there had never been even as a child.
What I think is important at this point to emphasize the different approach and feel that each of us has in front of the passing of the seasons of their lives. Your vision "with easel" (forgive the simplification) makes me think of an outside observer to the scene, fixing something that does not belong. I I proposed instead of describing something deeply mine and for this I had to somehow pick up on that swing. If you think back to when as children we gave you the momentum with his arms and legs to get more and moreAt top agree with me that in those moments did not matter the place, and all around the edges of trees and objects were undefined for speed effect. So for me, that time I feel anything but scroll slowly, the picture could not be clearer why would not fully represented my feeling ...
Of course I realize that far from being "correct" or at least effective representation of my idea, but altrondo of this forum I love it because it serves to understand how to improve. Thank you again for your generous support! Best regards, Massimo

Reply to thread.
L 'idea has great potential, especially after the' further explanation (
I had to somehow pick up on that swing
) you just have to develop the best, finding the right shutter speed for the speed of 'swing , to give some reference point in more ... ultimately also in life there are ...
Check back soon on that 'swing ... ;-)

Now that you have described your idea further, I confirm that you should try again, because it is very beautiful. In fact you mentioned the crucial steps'','' I have a little misrepresented. Until next time, a greeting.

A brief advice: search for another swing, look at everything around you will acquire this speed effect, I think that there is poverty in this shot of elements, there is something missing that is able to strike the beholder, then obviously you have to work on time, how do you have already suggested, less evil that I had to be brief ...

Hello Max, I'm sorry but I think the experiment has failed.

Certainly experience is always a positive thing, but you have to give you, the stakes of which should rest your photographic principles in the trial.

The empty swing hardly have held that the subject, let alone in this picture where everything is too confusing and hard for me to connect it to your description.

If you think about it, being able to translate his emotion in a picture is not easy, but that's the beauty of the game, otherwise we would all HCB! :-D

Come back with new proposals, you'll see that you can do it to get what you want and when that happens, we will magically capiremo, without captions.

Want to bet?
;-)

Dear Max, late arrival but I was abroad with a lot of connection problems. Read the comments of others I do not have much to add.
I think that you had engaged in theme really hard and this is a great thing. The idea is really interesting. Telling the passage of time in photography, difficulties, it is second only to attempt to feel the smells!
Thou hast tried and had clear ideas as well! For this I must compliment you. Problems arise, as others have said, the camera translation of your thoughts. The image, in my humble opinion, does not have the strength of the idea. The seat, without your description, I would have found it difficult to identify him. That particularblue top draws attention, but do not lead to anything and it becomes distracting. Approve the choice of the total moved, but the result does not reach effectively observer who wanders in search of a possible reading. There are pictures abstract or conceptual requiring slow reading and thoughtful, others, like you, who want to communicate an emotion, atmosphere, and must strike the observer immediately, like a flash. This is the aspect that I find the picture lacking. I suggest you try it again because it's worth it.
A warm greeting.
Franco

Thanks again for your attention and for your comments always friendly and extremely knowledgeable and share a passion for your so wonderful and yet so hard to carry on, once you reach the awareness of its limitations!

I also extremely late arrival. I agree with all those who have preceded me, the picture is so much that without the move and abstract description would not be able to identify a swing. The idea is there and it's beautiful, it's worth another try again.
Greetings
Barbara
