L'isola dei Conigli o Isola Grande è un isolotto posto a pochi metri dalla costa di Porto Cesareo che attira numerosi curiosi e turisti per la sua particolare ubicazione. Vicinissima alla costa di Porto Cesareo, l'isoletta è facilmente raggiungibile a nuoto o con imbarcazioni private o pescherecci di modeste entità. L'isolotto è disposto parallelamente alla costa e vanta una dimensione di tutto rispetto, con i suoi 400 metri di larghezza e i 2,5 km di lunghezza. Il sopraelevamento rispetto al mare è di circa 2 metri. L'isola, che sulle antiche carte nautiche risultava con il nome "Isola Grande" è stata ridefinita dagli abitanti locali "Isola dei Conigli" a causa dell'ormai desueta consuetudine di allevare animali, tra i quali anche conigli, sulla sua superficie. Attualmente l'isola ha una vocazione esclusivamente turistica, costituendo un punto di grande interesse ambientale, essendo considerato parco naturalistico di rara bellezza.
