Avifauna Messicana: Blue-Crowned Motmot (Momotus Momota). Questo splendido uccello è stato il più bell'incontro messicano che io abbia avuto con l'avifauna locale. La guida mi diceva che lo chiamano anche "pendolo blu" perché quando si muove le due appendici della coda oscillano come un pendolo. Questo bell'incontro è avvenuto all'interno del parco archeologico di Uxmal che ospita molte specie di uccelli. Purtroppo era appollaiato in un ramo molto alto e questo è il massimo che sono riuscita a fare pur sfruttando al massimo la focale del mio 18-200. Sono comunque molto contenta di averlo potuto ammirare e spero che un po' della sua bellezza arrivi anche a voi. Crop.
