Nel proseguo del racconto fotografico ci spostiamo da Tuscania a Tarquinia per 25 km in terra di Tuscia per visitare la bellissima Necropoli Etrusca di Monterozzi, prima di questo una sosta pranzo e una breve visita in città così documentata. Palazzo Vitelleschi. Realizzato tra il 1436 ed il 1439 su commissione del cardinale G. Vitelleschi, in parte su strutture preesistenti, su progetto di due diversi architetti, questo edificio, attualmente di proprietà demaniale, dal 1924 è sede del Museo Archeologico Nazionale Etrusco, considerato tra i più importanti d'Italia. Il portone principale sulla piazza Cavour immette in un arioso cortile a pianta trapezoidale il cui lato di fondo e quello di destra sono caratterizzati da un porticato a duplice ordine ad arco acuto con decorazioni bicrome in macco e nenfro. Nel mezzo del cortile si trova un pozzo ottagonale, sul cui lato posto verso l'ingresso, è scolpito in bassorilievo lo stemma dei Vitelleschi.
