Oggi vi propongo una curiosità che probabilmente in pochi sanno ! ? Questo che vedete nella foto aerea ?? ? è il centro storico di Bistagno ( un paese in provincia di Alessandria ai confini con quella di Asti abitato da circa 2000 anime ) e da come si può ben notare, la sua pianta è a forma di triangolo. Questa particolare sagoma triangolare ? è piuttosto rara e nelle nostre zone, la sola città ad avere una " struttura " simile è Nizza Monferrato. Nel caso del nostro paese, la particolare pianta, fu così costruita per ragioni difensive : infatti, uno dei lati del centro storico è protetto naturalmente dalla sponda del fiume Bormida ( ben visibile in foto ) e di fatto ne sarebbero così rimasti soltanto due da difendere. E proprio con questo scopo ( cioè quello della difesa del paese ) venne così eretto al vertice di uno dei tre lati il castello ( lo si può riconoscere al centro della parte alta della foto dove il fiume '' curva '' ) e che in tempi molto più recenti, venne poi raffigurato nella nuova araldica civica ( o comunemente detto stemma ) che rappresenta il Comune di Bistagno. #drone #fotoaerea
