Loris Cecchini (Milano, 1969), Spindles (“fusi”). Per la sua scultura, Cecchini ha scelto un titolo simbolico, Spindles, che si riferisce ai fusi su cui si avvolge il filato. Si tratta di una grande scultura modulare in acciaio e alluminio, composta da cinquanta elementi, ciascuno a sua volta diviso in tre parti accoppiate. Per Cecchini “sono la metafora dinamica della città e dei suoi abitanti in continuo divenire, in cui la singolarità degli elementi individuali si rapporta sempre a un contesto più ampio, al momento collettivo e plurale”. Importanti le dimensioni: oltre nove metri le misure di base e l'altezza.
