E' un classico spot dove tutti scattano la via lattea estiva. Per mesi mi son chiesto come mai nessuno avesse mai scattato la via lattea invernale e l'unico modo per scoprirlo era quello di andarci in inverno! Dopo aver studiato i punti cardinali da casa, son partito e mi son recato qui nei cipressi ring della Val d'Orcia e con photopills ho effettivamentre visto che la posizione di Orione era proprio li. E' stato stranissimo essere da solo ai cipressi, uno spot dove solitamente trovi sempre decine e decine di persone. Cosi ho aspettato il buio, ho scattato la foto per la base con la mia figura con un vento di 40kmh che facevano fare la olà ai cipressi. A quel punto è arrivata l'ansia per il cielo, il timore che non si riuscisse a fotografare bene Orione e la paura per la delusione di tutti quei km a vuoto e invece il risultato è stato fantastico! Finalmente ho potuto utilizzare per la prima volta la mia Canon 6D astromodificata ed ho eseguito uno stacking di 18 foto da 2 minuti ognuno a ISO 800 F4. Il risultato mi soddisfa molto, soprattutto per aver potuto realizzare una foto che probabilmente nessuno ha mai scattato, in uno dei posti più inflazionati del centro Italia e per essere riuscito finalmente a scattare la via lattea invernale.
