San Cristobal, Messico - Quando vidi questa scena fui molto intenerito e al tempo stesso divertito. Purtroppo il momento dello scatto non può riprendere il prima e il dopo. La tenerezza della bambina che indossa poveri abiti e delle calzature che a me ricordano quando si andava al mare, era evidente così come la sua tumidezza e il suo timore di avvicinare la turista che forse arrotondava con dei giochi da saltimbanco (non so....) che il quel momento stava prendendo fiato. Arrivandole quasi alle spalle la giovane turista ebbe un piccolo sobbalzo, subito stemperato da un sorriso che incoraggiò la bimba a chiederle se voleva compare quei braccialetti o collanine che fossero. Ho colto il momento in cui la turista stava rovistando nella borsa per cercare qualche pesos e ritirare così la merce con un sorriso. Lo stesso avvenne poi con me e mia moglie. Di questo non ho foto, ma i braccialetti sono ancora lì, così come il ricordo di quella bella bimba ormai donna credo….
