Laos - Ventiane.

The times I happen to go to Vientiane I never fail to go and visit the COPE center which, as you rightly say, has a strong emotional impact and I also recommend visiting it if you go to the capital of Laos. The photo is very well taken because it is visually strong and arouses sensations. Nice document and also excellent caption. Congratulations Marcello.

Thanks Fabio, thanks Renni
I am lucky enough to be able to travel, even for work. Laos is perhaps the country that has left the most mark on me for the calmness of the people. A proverb goes something like this: the French eat rice, the Vietnamese rule, the Cambodians cultivate it, the Laotians "feel" it growing...
Also apt the Latin quote, Renni ....
Good day!

Horrifying warning, unfortunately unheeded. Congratulations also for the caption. For so much of the world it is a reality that remains invisible. It is right to bring it to the fore, especially in these times.

Ray,
Livio,
Marant,
Sergio,
thanks for the appreciation. It's an old shot of 2014, but since after a bit of vicissitudes (including Covid) I came back to make myself alive on Juza I'm reviewing some old photos ... As often happens some shots that before told you little then, after a while 'begin to talk ... Or maybe it's just us who start listening to them.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Horror is the senselessness of wars, and consider the lives of others zero: I find the photo beautiful and the note excellent: this photo of yours arouses anger and tenderness: anger for violence and suffering caused because of bombs and unexploded mines, even after years, like diabolical seeds scattered on purpose in the grounds; tenderness because here and there there are still good Samaritans who care and do their best to alleviate the pain and make the unfortunate resume the journey of life.
