L'Ardia é indubbiamente una prova di ardimento, di spericolatezza, di sfida...ma appunto per questo racchiude in sé dei pericoli e dei rischi... In questa foto e nelle prossime due, dopo lo scatto bruciante della "prima pandela", mentre tutti sono ancora sorpresi e la "terza pandela", precedendo la "seconda", si lancia all'inseguimento del suo capocorsa... un cavaliere, nell'impeto di provare a superare quelli che stavano davanti a lui non ha calcolato gli spazi ristretti in cui ha tentato di infilarsi col suo cavallo, col risultato di urtare la croce che da decenni identifica "Su Frontigheddu", trascinandola con sé e finendo a gambe all'aria.
