Il mio primo incontro con la fauna selvatica scozzese è avvenuto a Dunbar con i gabbiani triattili (Rissa tridactyla) che qui hanno stabilito una vera e propria colonia riproduttiva in prossimità delle rovine del castello e del porto.

To my shame I can tell you that making this shot was not easy because of the steep terrain; I also did not want to disturb too much the seagulls in brooding (they also had the little ones) and give the impression of the size of the colony and the unusual place.
