I would like to point out the inaccuracy of the caption regarding the title of the work: the church on the left although white and with domes is not the Basilica of the Madonna della Salute but the church of San Simeon Piccolo and the one on the right the church of Santa Maria di Nazareth also called "degli Scalzi". Everything behind the latter no longer exists as it was demolished to make way for the Venice Santa Lucia Train Station.
